Stroke's Bar & Grill

We were a large group with reservations. The waitresses were on top of things for the most part considering the size of our group. Most of us ordered rib eye steaks. All of our baked potatoes were so cold the butter didn't melt. The veggies and steaks were also cold. We know these are difficult times but really cold baked potatoes... probably will avoid in the future.

We had a GREAT time at Stroke's last night on date night. I gotthe Lava Flow (blended drink , not blended well with chunks of ice a little disappointed) & the prime rib with baked potato (They were out of baked potato so I got mashed but they were EXCELLENT mashed potatoes) and fresh veggie mix that was sauteed very well extremely satisfied with the food and HUGE portions. My husband got the Ortega burger (a little bit greasy but not bad and very well cooked and seasoned) and a double Pendleton on the rocks (no complaint there 😝) and my wife got the fettuccine Alfredo which had so much flavor and we were really impressed with & Cheechs 5 o'clock somewhere (we were also super impressed with) ... The salads we got with our meals were AMAZING with homemade croutons REALLY good dressing as well and a good mix. We also got an order of mozzarella sticks which my husband absolutely loved...we all did. The food was GREAT , the STAFF WAS EVEN BETTER. Found out the cook went home sick and our waitress had to jump back there and she really is a jack of all trades. We loved her. She was awesome. All of the staff was super friendly and helpful. Our meal was $120 which wasn't bad with the drinks and meals etc. We will definitely be back. Thanks Stroke's ❤️❤️💯💯

I waited 15 minutes, cleaned the dirty table myself. Watched the bar keeper standing at the bar talking to a patron and then two waitresses standing and discussing if they should wait for the next person comng on duty to serve me. Yes I heard them loud and clear. When they walked away and never came to the table to let me know some one would be there soon or even acknowledge me, I felt it was not the right place for me. Not even a hello, someone will be with you soon.

Food here has declined over the years.. Just visited for Mothers day dinner. Server was very slow and non attentive to our table. Salads were very small and breadsticks were microwaved and hard. Served with marinara and some sort of melted butter? Food arrived a couple minutes later. Asparagus over cooked and mushy. Chicken was about 3 oz in size cold and unseasonably. Potato cold not cooked thru. Server came by one time to replace the vegetable. Which had butter wrap in it. Food quality is not important here and either is service.

If you enjoyed this review please give it a like. My buddy and I hit dive bars across southern California selling steak and seafood, today we ended up in Parker Arizona. Stokes is our third bar, it isn't a dive at all though. It is right on the river and pretty classy. Not suit and tie fancy but a step up from our usual haunts. Nice place to bring a date.
