Jack's Shave Ice

Girl working was so slow 25% of the ice was already melted before we received the product. After shaving the ice she had to make more syrup the whole time the ice was melting. At just over $8.00 you would think they could get things done. Took 5 minutes from the time we paid until we got served. After speaking withe owner and him listing to or problems he arrived us he would address the issue. He also responded to .y review within an hour which shows ihe is very involved in his operations. Add to the the fact his business survived covid 19 and I for one am looking forward to visiting the shop again

I absolutely love this shaved ice. I will purposefully wait sometimes up to an hour or more until 3pm when it opens to get my fix. Flavor and quality is 5 stars hands down. However I have to rate 4 stars because 3/5 times I go, I end up waiting LITERALLY 25 minutes or longer to get my order. Even when there’s only a few other people in line. The service is extremely extremely slow. It easily takes a good 7-10 minutes For each order to make it out to each customer. And I promise that’s no exaggeration. However, once you finally get your order, it is absolutely delicious and so refreshing. Definitely worth the wait. I still keep coming back!

We had Hokulia Shave Ice bring their goodies to our daughter's graduation as well as our annual client picnic. Both times were amazing. The kids really enjoyed having something different than cupcakes and had fun making their own flavors. Our client party was a huge success thanks in part to Hokulia, the owners and the employees who worked our event. I would definitely hire them again and now we have to visit their store!

Staff is very friendly and personable. They are very knowledgeable and truly enjoy watching customers enjoy the product samples. The owner is a wonderful person that always loves conversation and people. Usually when ones staff is mostly high schoolers, the service can be terrible. This is not the case. Alex is a fantastic kid, and a pleasure to interract with. I also love talking with Laura, I think her name is, they don't wear name tags so you have to ask. Love the flavors, the people, and the convenience of their location.
