First time for dinner, the food was delicious and price was reasonable. Lentil soup and chicken/beef shawarma was amazing!
While visiting the area on business I found the Shawarma Inn on Devon from Yelp. WOW! What great good and very generous portions! Good teamwork among the staff. Thanks for satisfying my taste buds!

Best middle-Eastern food around by far......
Ordered the combination entree bundle which included kefta, chicken kabob, and beef schawarma. It was amazing!! Its enough for 2 people to share. The meats were seasoned well and grilled perfectly. The rice was also really good, even on its own. The pita was thin, which makes it easier to grab the rice and meat. The combination came with salad and pickled veggies which paired well with the rice and meat. I had ordered a set of sauces which were unfortunately missing, I was looking forward to the garlic sauce. Other than that, packing was great and food was still hot.
First time here I've tried Falafel wrap and lentil soup. Lentil soup with curry. It was nice. However, I can't say the same thing for the service and falafel wrap. Service is very slow. It took long time to get our food. It was lunch time maybe they had lots of delivery orders since there aren't many table inside. If you are in a hurry, place your order before to go or just order take out. Falafel tastes different but I'm not sure which spice causes it. The bread is very dry. So far, the best falafel wrap is in Nafnaf grill Rosemont. I gave 4 stars since my husband loves the combination plate that he ate.
I've ordered there twice now. This is the first Middle Eastern restaurant I've ever eaten at and I must say it was fantastic! The food was great! I had the shawarma wraps, both chicken and beef. Deelish! Even though it was my first, I could tell it was authentic. The waitress is always kind and considerate. Definitely plan to try more dishes in the future! Awesome place!
I've been coming here for years now, but this is the first time back since the pandemic and while still good, prices are higher than what I was expecting. Portions seem smaller than I remember too. I hoping that changes but in the meantime it will probably be a while until I return. Still, excelent kebobs - food itself is 5 stars
