I’ve been coming here for breakfast every Friday for years. Always great food and friendly staff. I recommend West Forty to anybody staying in or going through Park Rapids.
The people were very friendly and super nice, and the food was awesome also, I would recommend this place to anyone who ever is in the area to stop and try the West 40 on for size
Fantastic place to sit down and have a great meal! If you ask for rare you will get rare. Steaks and Prime Rip are great but the hash browns are what I order with every meal.

The only reason I’m giving this a 4 and not 5 star is because as many other reviews have stated it is slow! We had to wait 40 minutes - maybe why it’s called West Forty.. ha. I ordered the Rueben. I wanted to order breakfast since reading all the great reviews but breakfast is over at 11am and we got here at 11:10 am. The food is great. Large portions! My husband had the Philly steak. If you’re not in a huge hurry it is worth the wait! The decor is interesting as well. Glad we came.
This is the best food.. service.. and price for food. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The staff made us feel like family yet extremely professional and fun. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone passing through.
Stopped in for breakfast! Pretty popular place. Everyone was so nice. Strangers talking to strangers. Cute decor! Great food.

Cut chicken fried steak with a fork, mashed potatoes, gravy, all tasted like home made! You gotta give yourself a treat.

About 50 cars outside, Sunday and all staff working hard as short handed as is the case these days.
Looks like only other places to eat here in Park Rapids are the predictable corporate fast food. Yucky!
Good food, great service, friendly atmosphere. My favorite restaurant so far.
Stopped there and is amazing. Had great food, service and a open space that has so much memorable. Highly recommend
