Ta Molly's

They were busy because it's Mother's Day, so I gave them a little extra grace. Took about 15 minutes after being seated to take our drink order. Took a while longer to take our food order. The food took a while, but honestly arrived faster than I thought it would given the circumstances. When the food arrived we realized we didn't have any silverware. Took about another 10 minutes to get silverware after asking 3 different people. The food was okay, nothing spectacular. I ordered a fajita chicken chimichanga platter. It was much smaller than I anticipated for the price and the chicken didn't taste like it was fajita. In the picture you can see we have our food and nothing to eat it with.

To be honest, I feel like my 3rd star is generous. This is my first and definitely will be my last time eating here. My partner and me ordered basic Mexican styled restaurant food, chicken tacos, sour cream enchiladas and a sampler. I also ordered a small watermelon margarita that honestly was just as bland as the food. Oh! And they do not have a drink menu, the waitress mentioned that “it was super easy” house margarita you can “add flavoring” to or soda… The food was greasy TEXMEX food rather than Mexican food and well ...not super fresh either. Nothing wrong with the service “really” , just the food being a bit lackluster and tastes like, well, reheated food with absolutely no flavor. We did not even want to take our left orders.

Really great atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Great gluten free options that are prepared separately by a trained cook and brought out separately from the other food (but at same time). Chips are cooked separately and are really good. Love the sign up front - rare that a restaurant gives that much attention to gluten free cooking. And the food came out very hot and fresh as opposed to some larger unnamed tex-mex restaurants which have gotten more and more disappointing with subpar service and lukewarm, meh food

We were seated at a dirty table and decided to move ourselves to the next booth which was also dirty, but less of a mess. The floors were covered in filth. I had to ask for 3 different silverwares before I got a clean set... and I'm talking about food being stuck to them! The food tasted good enough but that evening both my grandmother and I had terrible stomach issues. 😫 Never again at this location!
