Tropical Trader Shrimp Co

Tony and I had dinner at Tropical Trader Shrimp Company Restaurant and Bar in Panacea Florida. Today was 08-12-2022. We shared a appetizer called "Maters ???" Can't remember the whole name but it was very good. It's Fried Green Tomatoes smothered with Tiny Fresh Shrimp, Sauted Bacon & Scallions with Three different cheeses and some sort of spicy sauce!!! It's delicious highly recommend!! Tony ordered a large draft Budweiser Light and I had my usual Half-Half Iced Tea with Lemon and Lime. Service was amazing and ambiance was very nice. Cozy and Laid Back!!! Definitely would go back again and recommend you do too!!!

the mozzarella sticks <3 !! the grouper <3 !! overall great food and great service, i really liked the hush puppies, the mozzarella sticks, the calamari, and the grouper in particular. also tried the flounder and the chicken, which were both very good too ! can be a bit pricy but good quality food and friendly and helpful staff, good atmosphere. def recommend !

Definitely recommend this restaurant! It was a busy Sat night when we went and after being seated we felt a little rushed to order but understood given the happening vibe going on. Our waitress quickly picked up that we weren’t there for an “in and out” meal which was good! We got the Greek style oysters for an app and a dozen raw and they were both amazing!! The shucker (Chuck who we later met and enjoyed!) does an incredible job releasing the oyster from the shell and not getting any shells in them! For dinner my husband got the wahoo special and really enjoyed it. I got the low country boil and it was just ok. Lots of food, but didn’t have the typical boil taste. Overall we enjoyed and would go back.

Get some of the best local seafood here. Oysters, scallops, grouper, and shrimp cooked broiled, blackened, or fried. The sides make a great compliment. Very casual which makes it the perfect stop after a long day on the water. Service is fantastic and provides southern hospitality. You can bring your catch and they will cook it for you. A must get on the coast.
