What can I say about Hong Min? I LOVE THIS PLACE. It's I grew up eating one kind of Chinese food- Fried Rice- and never tried anything else. Then one fateful day my friend invited me to Hong Min where I took a bite of her Lemon Chicken and I was hooked. Lemon Chicken, massive Chicken Pot Stickers, savory Curry Puffs...Come on, the Shrimp Fried Rice might as well be called Rice Fried Shrimp because it is packed with baby Shrimp. SOOOO good. Both the pan fried noodle Chicken and Beef Chow Mein are amazing. I thought I'd HATE IT. Nope. Love it. The Chow Meins can get a little greasy/oily sometimes. But it doesn't affect the flavor. The sweet & Sour Fried Scallops scallops my husband had steamed pretty fast so the breading got soggy but it didn't ruin the meal. He loved those scallops! Oh and on the topic of Sweet & Sour, the house made Sweet & Sour Sauce? There's nothing better than that sweet peachy tart goodness. OMG. It should be in stores....We've been here dozens of times and we'll be back again. When I picked up the food Amy was so sweet and kind to me. I made a new friend! She let me take pictures of the origami cranes that her niece, a teacher, makes. She even gave me some because it was my birthday 🎂 Thank you for *everything* Amy!
*Word to the wise, if you order Lemon Chicken, consider getting it with the sauce on the side. It lasts longer if you don't finish your meal, the chicken stays crispy(ish), and doesn't get mushy over night. Just a thought. That's why the picture shows a spoon drizzling sauce on the chicken. I always get it on the side. Enjoy!

I have Always loved this place since it was introduced to me back in the early 2000. Their original restaurant was in china town Chicago, and after it burned down they reopened in Palos Hills. I missed their delicious food and crave it daily. I finally had a chance to visit Illinois and visited Hong Ming. Loved their Mongolian beef with chow fung noodles. Their fried rice is amazing and their complimentary hot tea is always a win! I would recommend this restaurant if you love authentic Chinese food. I'm telling you this place is second to none!

In my opinion as a kid I think this food is delicious. The orange chicken is really good. The egg rolls are nice and warm. Anf

I've had their food three times and it's delicious. Good all three times - but I think I've had my share of not going out/or getting food on holidays! We ordered; they told us 30 minutes...we waited an hour and twenty!!

This is by far the best Chinese restaurant in the South Chicagoland area , probably the whole area. The inside and outside can be a little updated but that doesn't bother me the slightest because the food and service is phenomenal. All of their food is very consistent every time I go, and I've been there hundreds of times. If you are a fan of egg rolls this is the place for you I have struggled to find a Chinese restaurant that has an egg roll that taste good. This place has it all. The fried rice, egg foo young, beef chop suey, Mongolian beef, soups and practically everything is darn near perfectly prepared every time. I highly recommend you give this place to try you won't be disappointed.
