The spare rib was oh so delicious! And surprisingly filling too. I only ate half the bread and after eating this entree (also with three onion rings and three falafels to go with the three cuts of meat), I was not hungry. So quality and quantity. Maybe this isn't etiquette but I ate the arugula with the meat and I thought the bitterness of the arugula complimented the savory meat and accompanying sauce. I know, I'm a savage: I ate the garnish. The ambience was nice. I sat outside. I had a long day so decided to treat myself to a nicer dinner than usual and I thought this was a classy restaurant and it was indeed a treat -- a treat that cost upwards of $30 but a treat nonetheless.

An intimate, softly-lit dinner experience with charming, very attentive staff and some uniquely delicious food. Perfect for a more upscale family dinner, or date night. Decent wine list, though the dining area is relatively cozy so make reservations on a busier night. Try their delicious lamb ravioli in truffle sauce!

Best vegetarian dishes in Palo Alto. I had a tomato gazpacho, eggplant cold salad, and the spanakopita and all dishes were amazing. The freshness and the taste of the gazpacho, eggplant cold salad were just amazing and the spanakopita was baked just right. I eat mostly vegetarian and in many of the best restaurants in the area and his was as good or better than much more expensive such as Evvia or Birch Street Cafe, both are great restaurants. I had some seafood there before and it was not as good. If you like great vegetarian food this is the place.

Very nice place with excellent dishes just as expected from what we experienced from Zubi (the owner) previously both at his Los Altos Urfa restaurant and from private catering with them. Beets with grilled haloumi and pistacchio were devine, the stuffed eggplant and grilled lamb chops just perfect. We love the outdoor table setting on California Ave and will be back.
