my boyfriend and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mr. Parker in Palm Springs, and I must say, it was an absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted by Tim, who set the tone for the evening with his warm and welcoming demeanor. His genuine hospitality made us feel right at home, and it was a wonderful first impression.
Our server, Ezekiel, was equally amazing throughout the evening. Not only was he attentive and knowledgeable, but his wine recommendations were spot on. He took the time to understand our preferences and suggested the perfect pairings for each course. It's always a delight to have a server who goes above and beyond to enhance the dining experience.
Now, let's talk about the food. The menu at Mr. Parker is a true culinary delight, with a wide range of options to please any palate. For appetizers, we indulged in the hamachi crudo, oysters, and burrata. Each dish was a masterpiece on its own, with fresh flavors and exquisite presentation. The combination of the delicate hamachi, the briny oysters, and the creamy burrata left us craving for more.
When it came to the main course, two dishes stole the show for me. First, the truffle pasta was an absolute revelation. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the truffle-infused sauce was rich and decadent, with each bite leaving a lasting impression. And let's not forget about the filet mignon. Cooked to perfection, it was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The accompanying sides and sauces were thoughtfully crafted and elevated the dish even further.
In addition to the outstanding food, Mr. Parker boasts a charming ambiance and an attentive staff that adds to the overall experience. The attention to detail in every aspect of our dining experience was truly remarkable.
Overall, Mr. Parker exceeded all expectations. From the moment we were greeted at the door by Tim to the impeccable service by Ezekiel and the exceptional menu highlights like the hamachi crudo, oysters, burrata, truffle pasta, and filet mignon, this restaurant is a true gem in Palm Springs. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience.
And we have a winner! Wondering what the best white linen dinner destination in the desert is? It’s the dining room at the Parker. General Manager Mr Fox runs a tight and classy ship, delivering a service experience reminiscent of Ma Maison and Chasen’s. The room is a visual feast, they did their homework on the wine list, and the execution in the kitchen is five stars. Put this in your list when you need to impress a special date, or you just need to remind yourself that Palm Springs still has an ace or two up its sleeve.
10/10 Experience! My wife and I went to Mister Parker as a celebration for her birthday and let me tell you, they made this such a VIBE! From the music, the service, the quality, etc. everything was incredible and led to an amazing evening.
Our server was kind, funny, and very welcoming of two non-foodies. The GM made sure to check in on us and everyone around us on multiple occasions.
I will say, the price can be a bit high, however, well worth the experience and food!
We had an exceptional experience at Mr.Parker’s while celebrating our anniversary! We were warmly greeted by wonderful host/manager Tim, had a fantastic team waiting on our table including our server Delia, - the food was creative and delicious and the overall atmosphere amazing, cozy and fun!
Highly recommend.
One of the most amazing dinner experiences anywhere, especially in Palm Springs area. The vibe is very PSP while the food is very creative and well presented! Excellent wine list and exceptional service by everyone there. Palm Springs how it’s suppose to be! Enjoy
Had a lovely evening at mister parker's. The ambience was perfect for a leisurely decadent meal. The servers were friendly and attentive. The meal itself was perfection from start to finish. Some standouts on the menu include the pork, the steak and the Thai Brussels sprouts. Will definitely return.
I couldn't put into words how I felt so special on my birthday, I am so blown away by the attention to detail about this place must say this place went above and beyond from being welcomed by a well dressed gentleman in a suit named Tim Fox(such a foxy name) everything was like in a dream, it was quite an amazing experience like I was in a movie set of the great Gatsby, the decor was a mix of that elegant vibe with a modern art deco was truly so entertained with each eclectic art that was hanged in the walls and felt like the food was served at such quite timing that we felt like we never had to wait, the food was truly a delight as me and my bestfriends are both foodie, the serving quality if the food was so rich and savory that even when we only got 3 entrees I was already so full the bites was just so tasteful and just filling because of it's quality, and I can't even get over how thoughtful the servers are and they very much explained everything they we're serving with such delight, YOU have to truly experience it yourself to feel how special this place truly was! It was over the top but in the most beautiful way of being served in a way were they truly go above and beyond to make sure that you are getting the best dinning experience!
Had the most beautiful and amazing dinner! The service and food was superb! The ambiance was absolutely gorgeous! It was my best friend’s birthday and everyone went out of there way to make it so special!
ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR
Google reviews on Mister Parkers seem wildly inconsistent and terribly out dated so I frankly did not know WHAT to expect…
Last nite our party of 4 had a truly magnificent experience.
The beautiful ambiance is that of a dark, dimly lit tuck & roll steakhouse; the highly attentive service is exceptional from start to finish; the craft cocktails were perfect; and each phase of the dining experience was carefully and dramatically entertaining.
I started with a Whiskey Sour, moved Burrata with Heirloom tomatoes, and had the scallops as my main course. All were the absolute best I have ever had.
The evening was filled with amazing and pleasant surprises which, along with our service, left indelible memories through their creative and unique touches.
I highly recommend Mr. Parker’s for an exceptional culinary adventure and an unforgettable experience!!!
Go. Enjoy. Prepare to be impressed.
If you're looking for the best vibe for dinner in Palm Springs -- Mister Parker's is the place. The food and presentation was great and the service is top tier. And the butter candle was a nice touch. Perfect for a sexy date or a group of friends.
Recently dined with a group of seven ladies for a bachelorette party. We had the private dining room. The experience was all around top notch. Ezekiel (server) took phenomenal care of us and Tim (GM) made sure the night exceeded our expectations in every way. Overall experience is a 10 and food is also solid. Highly recommend.
Our experience was amazing! Definitely will be back! We had the oysters to start, Sea Bass and Scallops, only thing we didn't much care for was the fried brussel sprouts, everything else was top notch!
I have had the opportunity to travel and dine all across the world; and Mister Parker's is One of my favorite restuarants in the world- full stop. Tim Fox, General Manager- truly knows what hospotality is. His entire staff is dialed in and makes it a one of a kind experience. The kitchen does not disappoint either! The butter.....!!! Bravo.
I had high expectations for Mister Parker's re-opening - it did not disappoint. It was an exciting opening night and the room and the playlist were just as I remembered, cool and sexy. We settled in to our intimate table with a perfect Gimlet and French Martini. The clever delivery of the marrow butter and fresh baked bread were a delicious start, but the stars of the menu were the fresh crudo and the heavenly scallops. The take away peach muffins were magnificent with coffee the next morning. We're looking forward to coming back again soon.
The Parker Hotel has three places to eat, Counter Reformation, an all day casual cafe, and their posh restaurant, Mr Parker’s. The latter is the most expensive, it only does a three course menus at $79 per person but , boy, is it worth it! They firstly gave us all complimentary Kir Royale, then a delicious foie gras mousse amuse bouche. Then the serious meal started. There are several options for each course, and my party of four sampled most of them. Portions are just right not vast but not stupidly small. Every one was a careful combination of delicious tastes and elegant presentation. The wine list is pretty pricey. Service is timed just right, not rushed but one is never left wondering where you next course is coming. As we left, we were given chocolate muffins to take home. Not that we were hungry. Next morning I ate mine, more like a brownie than a stodgy muffin and absolutely scrummy. Sorry, no photos in the actual restaurant, but this one is part of the lobby area.
We were lucky to get a rez for this intimate, single daily seating spot at The Parker. Inside you are greeted by a cool vibe and interesting artwork. Highly recommend making time for a visit. The menu was well curated with consistent high-quality in presentation and flavor at a fair value. Staff was attentive and professional taking time to enhance a great experience but not intrude. Added to our regular rotation and should be on yours. Enjoyed the best oysters and Hamachi Crudo in the desert.
a unique and elevated dinner experience- at the moment the desert’s best dinner party - hands down. Come early enough to enjoy a a drink in the limelight of the prettiest jewelry box bar in town, then wander through the velvet curtains into the arms of Mr Fox, who will see to it that a beautiful feast will unfurl.
All of this is expensive for good reason, because its worth it, times 2. You wont mind, it is off the charts great.
My wife and I enjoyed a beautiful dinner at Mr. Parker. I recommend the restaurant for a special event, a celebration or any evening you’re looking for a special dining experience. Staff is first class, food is delicious and the ambiance can not be beat.
