My name is Chef Robert Sevaly and I am the new Chef of El Jefe along with Chef Chuy Sandoval. Garces Group at the Sagauro Palm Springs is under new management and we would like to invite you to come and dine with us. We have new menu items such as our torta menu that features the newly world famous El Jefe burger. The restaurant also features an immense tequila selection. Check out the brand new pool menu that is guaranteed to keep the party going. We are looking forward to seeing you.

Coleyworld approved! 💜 Best drag brunch ever! The queens were extremely talented and put on a fabulous show! Our bachelor had a blast! Food was good! I inhaled my burrito and was still hungry after. Order extra verde sauce! And thank god for the churros with the chocolate dripping! Perfect dosage of sweetness! Oh and did I forget to say bottomless mimosas! Yes baby! Bring your dollar bills for tipping the queens but worst case scenario, they take Venmo!

Love this place. Food and service are good and the outdoor dining experience is comfortable. As a mid-century fan, it’s always fun to walk through the Saguaro Hotel lobby. Don’t miss the Barbie scenes in the walkway between the lobby and the restaurant. The chips and salsa are a great way to start along with the el Jefe margarita (which is one of my favorites). The salsa tastes fire roasted and I’d love to get my hands on the recipe. I loved the shrimp tacos which were mixed with some chorizo and a creamy sauce. The pork and pineapple tacos were really damn good too. It was nice to be able to share them with my husband so we got to taste both. Our server was Nelson and he was nice and helpful. I

A restaurant inside the Saguaro Hotel. Known for its 60s vibes The restaurant is tucked away, so look for the sign pointing the way as you walk into the lobby. The tacos are excellent. Also the cocktails have smart twists and names. Fun place for a group of people to meet.

Super cool restaurant located in a really fun, vintage-inspired hotel. The service was great and our waiter was super helpful about me being gluten free. The margaritas can’t be beat (with fresh lime juice) and my steak salad was delish. Would come here again for sure!

Came in on a taco tuesday for a quick bite and some cocktails with friends. The staff here exceeded my expectations. Jen behind the bar was a star. Her tamarind vodka creation was to die for. I'm generally a shots kind of guy, but that cocktail was so good I came back for seconds. Johnny was our server. He was knowledgeable and all his food recommendations were on point. A total Johnny on the spot.

I was looking to make a reservation for a group and was told by multiple sites and apps that there were no reservations available, I called and they said they could squeeze us in but when we got there we were the only table in the whole place. Not sure why it was so difficult to make a reservation when they clearly had the space. The food was delicious though, and the Jefe margaritas with a Tajin rim hit the spot. The Carne Asada tacos and chili pineapple side were a killer combo, and our server was polite but infrequently stopped by despite having no other tables to check on.

Pretty darn good for a (boutique) hotel restaurant. Leans a little on the pricier side, but we found portions good. Service is hit or miss. Lunch/dinner is better than breakfast here. Cool interior aesthetic, and nice outdoor/patio space.

Great selection of bites and tacos. Very flavorful bites with the right amount of heat. Friendly staff and great service. Will return for the speak easy and taco Tuesday or Thursday.

$5 taco night was a hit for our party of 8. Right amount of spice for adults, a little to spicy for some of the kids. Food was 5 out of 5, service was 4 out of 5, a bit slow and and a missing some beverages.

Had so much fun at El Jefe Cantina! Chill vibes and super cute decor. Talented and creative bartenders, John and Ariana, truly made our night. Cheers!
