Review High Jackers Restaurant - Palm Coast

Food was excellent! Had the fillet mignon kebab and chicken kebab combo. Comes with a vegetable kebab and corn fritters. Everything was delicious and so tender. Coleslaw was also good. But you can't beat the views , the breeze and relaxing sight of the little planes landing and taking off in front of you. Playground for kids is a plus. Will surely come back.

Fun and pleasant atmosphere. Great service during the day and quick on the refills as well as clearing the table when you're done. The restaurant appears to be very clean yet cluttered with so many things to read, see and enjoy, you can spend a good amount of time looking around. If you're an aviation buff, this is the fun place to drive or fly in and enjoy. The tables are large and clean but the bathroom could be about four times larger. At least it was very clean ;-) I had the Shrimp Cabob which is a bit pricier than many of the other plates but the amount of meat, veggies and garlic mashed potato's you get are worth the price. The garlic mashed potato's were excellent and probably one of the best things on my plate. The corn fritters were a bit disappointing as they seemed to lack taste and there wasn't much corn. All three of us agreed it was a disappointment. I was surprised by the shrimp coming with an orange dip but the owner has a great idea including this and I couldn't get enough. For dessert I had the peanut butter pie. It has drizzled chocolate and a bit of whip cream for a nice presentation. Including some with each bite evens out a sweet and comforting end to a good meal. My friends had the Carrot cake which was large and presented well but lacked a strong punch to end a meal. They both said it could have been better but I also noticed that both of them finished the entire dish. I liked it but agree that it could have more taste to it. Large parties have interior and exterior space to put tables together as I watched a Harley Owners Group come in with about 30 people. They appeared to be served quick and were all served food within a very reasonable time for a party that large. I grew up in airports and around aircraft so I enjoy being in the atmosphere again but for a themed restaurant, this place is fun and worth the money.

Great spot for lunch. Clean dining room and restroom, friendly staff. I got the Filet Tip Sandwich and it was awesome! The bread in particular was fantastic and their homemade kettle chips were delicious. Will rerurn.

Great views of the airport! Food was amazing! This place was clean, sanitary, and worth the journey. I definitely recommend to both locals and tourists alike.

My wife and I fly in to KFIN frequently, specifically, to eat lunch at High Jackers. The food is always excellent as is the service. I am particularly fond of their Cuban sandwich!

Had a great lunch! The food was awesome and served quickly. The staff was very friendly. They have an amazing view of the airport so you can watch all the planes land and takeoff. Prices were also good. I highly recommend anyone looking for a good meal try High Jackers!

Just left there. The wait staff was excellent. They are not responsible for terrible food. Drinks were great. Fried pickles were excellent. Entrees were not edible. Could be a neat place. Such a great atmosphere. Shrimp was grey and filet was over cooked. Fish and potatoes were cold to the touch. I feel bad for the wait staff. We watched some tables stiff them. Now I know why.
