Reviews Green's Luncheonette

If you like unique local ‘greasy spoon’ types for breakfast, this is worth a stop in. I walked here from The Breakers and in what can be a posh town, Green’s is like stepping back in time with the luncheonette connected to a pharmacy/shop. The menu is very basic - not a lot of ‘special’ breakfast options, but that’s fine with me. Glad I tried it!

True to an old school diner or soda fountain. Great food served quickly. Reasonably priced with very large drinks. Great sweet tea. The beef stroganoff on Wednesdays is the best. I don't think I have had anything that I did not like in the 7+ times I've been here. There is counter seating or table service. It's located in a pharmacy/drugstore. There are a good bit of things to look at inside Green's. They have a good collection of hand painted signs hanging around that are for sale.

As if from an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, you walk in to find a pharmacy on one side and a diner on the other, you even pay for the meal in the pharmacy :) I think it was Denise that looked after us, great food (though perhaps we ordered too much)

Awesome breakfast!! Must go to when in the area. Real old school vibe. Just like the old drugstores. Great friendly staff and even better prices.
