It fulfilled my expectations! The food was delightful! I was able to taste each fresh ingredient. On top of that, what took me by surprise was the splendid customer service! As it was our first time one of their employees gave us sweet Baklava for dessert -an unforgettable nice gesture... wordlessly, it became one of our favorite spots.

Disgusted at their lack of self-directed thinking. Employees and manager would NOT deviate from menu. I asked for lettuce and tomatoes to be put on grill as I can only eat hot food due to severe dietary restrictions. And they wanted to charge me full price for just the chicken and rice. Owner of this franchise AND corporate office will be hearing from me. It was NOT busy - 11:20 am this morning. UNACCEPTABLE customer service. It DID not help when two employees started laughing as I was walking to the exit. UNPROFESSIONAL. UNCALLED FOR. SHAMEFUL.

Wow! This is Mediterranean meets Chipotle concept. Choose a base - pita, rice or salad, pick a protein (Shwarma, gyro, Greek chicken, tofu) then add all the toppings. Mike got the gyro along with a side of tzatziki with fresh pita triangles for dipping. He couldn't stop raving about how soft and fresh the pitas were. We actually went and got 2 more whole pitas. I had the Greek salad with Greek chicken along with Greek fries. Everything here is super fresh. Staff was friendly and informative. Owner was working along with his team and bussing tables. You need to come to Chicago, you will kill it

I could rave about the delectable and healthy menu all day, but what really stood out to me about my experience at Olive U was the outstanding customer service from each employee. These days, it’s often hard to even get the bare minimum when going out to eat. As a strategic marketing specialist for many different types of businesses, I can see clearly they are doing something right here. The woman walking around and speaking to customers about their experience is amazing! Whoever she is (manager?) she deserves a raise! All customers left with a smile on their faces after speaking with her. Very deserving of the 5-star rating on Google!

This place is awesome!!! It's my go to place for this type of food. I've tried to look for similar places, but they don't compare. Hayat has a great menu selection and their customer service is excellent whether it's dine in or take out. I appreciate the little extra sweet treat with my pick up today as well. Don't wait, give them a try.
