Grimaldi's Pizzeria

I call this unique restaurant often as I like the good mood that is characterizes this restaurant. The personel is extremely attentive and qualified. The service is certainly fast. Needless to say, the food they prepare is highly distinguished. I have been there many times and I was always pleased. The payment is honest. I highly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

This is my first time eating Grimaldis. The pizza looks great. I was relatively thin which I like but isn’t wasn’t very crispy. There was something missing with the sauce. It was bland and there wasn’t much on the pie. I ended up adding Parmesan and red pepper flakes to provide flavor. The person answering the phone was pleasant. Talked me through a few things and convinced me to buy a salad and dessert. I picked up the pie, salad and a slice of cheesecake. Went back to my room and there were no utensils or napkins. Disappointing. On the bright side the cheesecake was some of the best I have had.

Located in the open air mall Downtown at the Gardens, this is just down the road from the Gardens Mall. The restaurant was busy and bustling on this Friday evening but we were able to get a table for two right away. The menu consists basically of pizza, salads and extra toppings. They have a nice selection of wine, beer and specialty drinks as well. We ordered the traditional 16” pizza with mushrooms, $16 plus $2 for the extra topping. The pizza was delicious and one of the thinnest crusts I’ve ever enjoyed. Since it’s coal fired, it has that nice crispy burnt taste. The 16” pie has 6 very large slices and for two people it was more than enough...we brought the leftovers home. We also ordered the Mediterranean salad in large, $13, and the portion was huge. It was loaded with Kalamata olives and the vinaigrette dressing was light and delicious. They were skimpy on the feta cheese though. Our server Jennifer was very friendly and attentive. She went out of her way to make sure that we were enjoying everything. On Friday’s from 7-10 pm during the summer months, there’s live entertainment in the Downtown’s park which is located right outside the mall. In the winter months on Fridays, they move the entertainment to the inside of the mall right across from Grimaldi’s. This is just a tip in case you were looking for something to do after dining. If you’re looking for a delicious coal fired pizza, this is the place!

Fantastic customer service. They accommodated my wife’s food allergies (tree nuts, peanuts, dairy and eggs). Outdoor seating is nice with COVID-19. Weird parking and the mall looks a little deserted. I hope they stay open. Been back within a month and will continue to visit. Similar taste to the one in Vegas. Love it.

My favorite pizza joint south of NYC. Outdoor seating is great especially during a Florida winter and spring. Its located in Downtown at the Gardens and on weekends there is sometimes music (cover bands). I especially appreciate the 9 oz wine pour of wine. Most of all service is excellent with just the right amount of attention.

Best Pizza in Palm Beach County hands down. At my job, a lady who lived up in New York and has Italian parents told me how she’s never been a fan of pizza in Florida. I asked her if there are any pizza places she likes in the area and she mentioned Grimaldi’s. She said that Grimaldi’s is the only pizza in the area that feels like New York style pizza. I had to go and try it out. I went and the first time I went I never had any other pizza after that, this place knows how to make pizza. Crust was nice and crunchy, cheese was so fresh, and the sauce was perfect. My favorite part about Grimaldi’s is the staff and customer service. Such nice people and good to talk to. Anyone who wants some amazing pizza in Palm Beach County, Grimaldi’s is the place for you

i grew up with Grimaldi's under the Brooklyn Bridge. So, i was excited to find they have opened up in Florida. I wasn't disappointed. We had a traditional cheese pie and a calzone. The pie was cooked perfectly. The calzone, was probably one of the best I've eaten. Flatter than normal, but filled with ricotta and mozzarella. With the ricotta being the star, the way a calzone is meant to be. Great sauce. Good friendly service. Fair prices. Will be back.
