Chung Dam Dong Restaurant

You may easily miss Chung Dam Dong Restaurant since it hides in the building at the corner. Their service was the best I have ever had among Korean restaurant, super friendly and attentive. They served solid and authentic Korean food with a great variety. Iron plate and hot pot is a must try, the portion (for 2) was good enough to share with fresh ingredients. We also love their complimentary, unlimited and decent sides.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon with a couple of friends. The restaurant is on the second floor of a small mall-like building, so make sure you pay attention to the signs. When we walked in, we were immediately seated right in the middle of the restaurant where there was lots of room to move around and the waiter gave us our water/tea pretty quickly too. I ordered the honey glazed pork over rice and it was so delicious and well cooked. The side dishes were on point too. My favorite was the sweet potato. Good value, good food and good service. Would come again.

Hands down to their great seafood pancake! Definitely more delicious than most of the Manhattan restaurants! We got a seafood hot pot, which was plenty and a little spicy. The rice cake was fine. And the bbq ribs and the pork belly were delicious! A little bit pricey overall, but the flavor was really good!

I had lunch here today and had their seafood iron plate and it was so goooood~ it was perfectly balanced with spicy and sweet and the cost was really affordable too 👍🏼 will definitely back when im in the NJ area! my parents also loved their side dishes (which are free) and they provide so many free and delicious side dishes! cant even get this kind of service in Korea ☺️☺️☺️

HANDS down one of my new favorite places in Palisades Park. A couple of friends recommended me this place because of the amazing food. I was skeptical because they hyped it up so much, but I was extremely impressed. First, their service is awesome. They are very friendly and attentive and quickly replaced our side dishes for us. The best part was the FOOOOD. The food was amazing. I ordered their mackerel which was cooked to perfection and served on sizzling onions. My girlfriend ordered their yook ga jang which literally tasted like we were in Korea. I am Korean myself and their food was just amazing. Next time, I really want to try their spicy rice cakes and bibimbap. Here's a picture of their mackerel down below.
