Big John's Texas Bbq

This place was so nice, we came here twice! The first time we had the sampler plate and baby back ribs. The second time we got a full pound of brisket and a full rack of ribs. They had 3-4 local brews that were from a Grand Canyon brewery. All kinds of authentic Texas signage and Knick knacks that really add to the vibe. Don’t miss this BBQ spot!

Food: Amazing. Service: Fantastic Price: Totally Reasonable Wait time: ok, you can’t get everything you want! Oddly the pulled pork was my least favorite, and the sausage was my favorite! But everything was awesome! Servers were totally awesome. Coleslaw was fantastic (and I usually hate coleslaw, can I get your recipe?). Only complaint is no one gave me a shoulder massage after I finished. 😉

Great BBQ! It was really tasty. Portion could have been bigger given the price they are charging. This place is busy so except wait times during lunch or dinner time. Taking 2 stars out because none of the servers were wearing face masks. It's dumbfounding that they require customers to wear a mask and not the staff???

I love this restaurant. We go here every time we are in town. The food is fantastic and the staff was happy. I could tell from their smiling faces. The BBQ sauce is some of the best I’ve ever had in all my travels. The hot BBQ sauce is hot. Can not recommend this place enough. It’s probably the best restaurant in Page. Just left after another wonderful meal and a great experience. Shame on anyone who would give this place a poor review because the staff didn’t wear a mask. You have no right to dictate how other people choose to live. It’s not required here. If you want to wear a mask, do, if someone else doesn’t that is their choice, not yours. This has nothing to do with the quality of the food and the wonderful service. I mean WONDERFUL service.

Full service BBQ in Page. There are big smokers outside emitting an aroma that let's you know they have legit BBQ. We got the sampler ate which had pork, brisket, ribs, beans, and potato salad. All the meat was fall apart tender and very flavorful. We also got a corn bread and it was great. The place has a nice large outdoor seating area. Overall we loved this place and would go back again.

I had the beef brisket sandwich. Meat didn't have much flavor and was barely warm. Then top that with cold BBQ sauce that tasted watered down with very little flavor and a mushy bun, I was not impressed. Hubby had sampler platter. The sausage tasted great! The pulled pork and ribs didn't have a lot of flavor either. The beans were pretty good. The coleslaw was just ok. We arrived at 6:15pm on a Thursday; service was fine. Parking lot is tiny and the outdoor patio was packed (live band). Had to park way down the street and walk. We were super hungry and normally wouldn't complain, but we won't go back.
