Wow, the best bbq chicken I've ever had. The pulled pork was also moist and delicious. The potato salad was a bit spicy and I wish they had more sides to choose from. The decor was great, a real entertaining theme. The ladies room was clean and modern. Unfortunately, the construction made it very difficult to get to.
Excellent BBQ Ribs & Chicken Too!
Backwoods BBQ was recommended to us by locals as the best ribs in the area. We certainly agree 100%! Both their ribs and chicken are excellent: smoked to perfection, moist, tender, and amazing flavor. Their prices are reasonable with portions that will make it hard to save room for pecan pie. Though not fancy, they more than make up for that with good service and a friendly atmosphere.
Food is absolutely delicious & ribs & chicken is so tender the meat will fall off the bone.
Good to get some bbq like I grew up with. Vinegar based sauce that you add yourself. Live in Kansas City now and this better than anything there.
