American Sushi House

This is very small restaurant and running by kind of elderly 2 gentlemen. Food has always been delicious and more than average meals. Many years ago one of my best friend has brought me here for sushi. I never been disappointed. I read almost all bad comments and sorry I cannot be agree any of them. If you wanna see very professional service and fake smiling faces , don't go there.

Disappointed. All you can eat really is mostly rice. Each roll contained hardly any good stuff. Bruce blew up at a waitress because I asked for a minor change which was just awkward for everybody. Frankly, a Poke bowl would have been twice as much fish, half as much rice, and half the price. I'll do that next time instead.

This is my favorite sushi spot (that I've tried) on the peninsula and I've gone pretty regularly over the years. Mostly with my wife but often with different friends too. Love the 4lb. Sushi roll challenge that I've attempted once, and failed at (only got about halfway through it.) Cool rewards incentive with their loyalty card and lots of fresh tasty menu options. The all you can eat sushi deal it nice when really hungry but I usually just get full off a couple rollls for pretty much the same price. Lots of fond memories here with friends though. I've since moved to the east bay but will still stop by here whenever I happen to be in the area.
