Review Salada Beach Cafe - Pacifica

Brunch with leisure. We came here for a brunch on a Sunday morning. Grandma who seems to run this place was happy and friendly. This place looks like a family business and attract local and nearby clients. Most of lunch on menu are Mexican and some Italian touch. They also seve varieties of coffees and, of course, mimosa. Good location. Very close to Pacifica Pier and beach. Great for weekend morning hanging out with friends and family. Check the picture of Pupusa I had.

House made Apple Pie with a slice of Cheddar Cheese , Morning Ambrosia Tea, and a Trio of Smiles to make your day great. A small part of the tasty food and overall experience offered here. For people who like to eat and work, a full house of customers and still the internet here runs at 46 Mbps down and 12 Mbps up. Other things I love about Salada Cafe: + The perfect croissants. + The Earl Grey tea. + The flowering bush in their back courtyard. + The dogs the live upstairs. Especially the ancient Mexican Hairless. + The weather on a sunny Pacifica day. + Rick's incredibly tasty and totally fresh pies. + The various artists work rotating through on the walls. + The people who frequent here. + The smell of the fresh ocean air. + The fresh-squeezed, not-from-a-bottle, orange juice and carrot juice. + The people who work here. + The coffee. + Green Pacifica hillsides all around. + The "no cell phone" sign on the beam when you walk in. + The daily chatter heard at just the right volume. + The feel of this 100+ year old well cared for building that has just reached the prime of its life. + The feel of the Pacifica beach sand as it slowly flows out from between my toes on the walk to Salsa Beach Cafe. You'll love it too.

Breakfast and lunch options. I enjoyed the pesto sandwich although it lacked some taste IMHO. A bit busy in the AM/lunch hours.

Great family friendly local breakfast spot - our go-to on weekends with the kids. Good variety of breakfast options and freshly brewed coffee is a hit. Always ask what bakery items are fresh that morning as it constantly changes but are almost always delicious.

This place has a really laid back feel to it that makes it great for Sunday morning breakfast. The food is really good too. It's a little bit pricey, but they give you healthy portions and it's tasty. It is a little small, so it can get a bit crowded at times, mainly at the counter when you're ordering. Also, there isn't any dedicated parking, so it can be difficult to find a spot on the street at the busier times.

Significantly overpriced. Nice place with nice people, but nothing special. I had a very typical breakfast dish with coffee - $17 for a dish that was "whelming, at best" and 1 (one only) cup of decent coffee. No service to speak of. "In the land of the blind..."?

Cute place with good coffee and friendly cashiers. The eggs Benedict was very good as was the buckwheat pancakes, though $10 for 2 medium sized pancakes was maybe a bit steep. I had requested soft bacon but received bacon so well done it shattered when you touched it, so that's the reason I left off a star. I would go back.

I had high hopes for this place seeing all the positive reviews. Ordered a Burrito which was absolutely bland and had no flavor to it. When I ask for their salsa on the side, that had no flavor at all as well. I requested it to be replaced and was asked to pay again because their burrito was ‘perfect’. The staff and the manager all had the same attitude. My wife ordered one of their scrambles and was again super bland. I am not spending another dollar for this bland mess.

I've never been to Salada before and I'm punching myself for not knowing about this place soon enough. This could be my new go to breakfast and lunch cafe by the beach. I may not have the view of the ocean from their location but I feel like everyone who comes in there just did some good incredibly uplifting. Why is everyone here in such a friendly happy mood? It must be the super juice that they come here for or the tostada I had with my auntie Rube who tells me she drives in from SF just to eat her most favorite meal. I see why now. I highly recommend this place.

I came here tonight for Valentine's dinner and it was a huge a mistake!!! I've come before and have had very good service and fell in love with there Mac & Cheese and Vege Burgers. They didn't have either of those on the menu. I talked to the waiter and asked what was good. I finally decide on a Mexican dish. I forget what the name was called. I asked what was on it. He said cabbage and hot sauce. I asked if that could be taken out and he said he would put it on the side. We asked for 2 white wines. They brought to us in water cups. The water cups are plastic and all scratched up. I personally don't like drinking or eating off plastic. Especially wine. I watched them bring wine to other tables in actual wine glasses to other tables and didn't understand why we weren't served the same way. My food came and it was this glorified quesidilla. Which was fine if it tasted good. It didn't. It was really doughy and didn't really have a lot of cheese pork or beans like the menu said it would. I put sour cream and hot sauce on it to have some flavor but it didn't work. The hot sauce wasn't hot. It actually tasted like nothing. When we complained they made excuses and didn't apologize for anything. They didn't ask how they could make things better. They did nothing but smile. I guess they think if they smile enough it would change the service and the food. I left upset and they said thank you. It's freaking Valentine's Day and they charged me $12 for wine in a nasty water cup. Wow this place went to the dumps and I am shocked. Horrible service. I tried to think if I have ever done anything to offend them and I can't think of one thing. I tipped good. I raved about the place to everyone. I wanted to support a local business in Pacifica instead of going out of town and I guess that type of loyalty was lost on them.

Nice hangout for coffee and pastries at 830 in the morning. Hung out by the fireplace and couch area inside before first school bell at IBL.
