I can't think of a better way to start the day than to enjoy a scrumptious breakfast at The Grill at Point Pinos. We didn't go just once; we had to go twice! During our recent getaway to the area, my wife and I decided to try The Grill at Point Pinos. Yes, we were staying right around the corner, but we had always wanted to try The Grill. It did NOT disappoint. For our first morning, I enjoyed the Bacon Cheddar Biscuits and Slightly Spicy Sausage Gravy. My wife enjoyed the Papas Poblanos. We also ordered coffees and a carafe of traditional mimosas. First, let me say that the portions are large. A great value for the price. Just beware that if you're not super hungry, ask your server for suggestions for a lighter meal. Speaking of servers, we had the absolute BEST. Ana is such a wonderful person. Attentive but not intrusive. And we had the joy of her service both mornings! A wonderful smile and super pleasant demeanor, she is just great! We were even greeted by the GM (my apologies for not remembering her name) on our second visit and she remembered us! During our first trip, we opted to eat outside as it was a beautiful morning (the fog had burned off). Just keep in mind that the birds like to sit in the overhead trees. :-). But we opted to eat inside on our second visit due to the foggy morning. My wife and I both wanted something "lighter" for breakfast, so I chose the Thick Cut Ham and Eggs (came with 2 slices of sourdough and country potatoes) and my wife ordered the Spiced Apples and Toasted Pecans Waffle. Again, large portions! Definitely a great value. Both meals were great. We enjoyed the views and interactions with everyone at The Grill. Looking forward to visiting again in the near future! Highly recommended.

Food was amazing, staff was so friendly and the views were beautiful. We got the chicken and waffles and it was the best we’ve had. The fried chicken is award winning and it lives up to it. The eggs Benedict was really good as well. I highly recommend

Our server was Urbano G and he gave us excellent service which felt very genuine. We had a question about the $18 coffee and we all had a good laugh over the way the menu makes it seem like the most expensive coffee ever ha! But he let is know that you can purchase the ceramic mug for $18 to take as a souvenir. He was very friendly and has a great sense of humor and even teased us when we asked for a coffee refill. The food was incredible as well, especially the eggs which were rich and cooked exactly as I ordered. My mom and I are from out if town and came to play golf, eating at the grill gave us great memories and we are glad Urbano was our server (:

Four of us have a standing breakfast date at Pt. Pinos Grill on Sundays. We are always greeted like family when we arrive. Besides the great food and wonderful atmosphere, sweet ANA, takes extra special care of us each time. She knows what each of us likes and even some of our idiosyncrasies. If there is ever anything wrong, she takes care of it immediately while maintaining a cheerful smile and positive attitude. As locals, it means a lot that we have a place to go that feels like home. Thank you to Tamie, Ian and the rest of the staff for creating such a wonderful place to gather in our community! Because I can't write a separate review....I'll go ahead and add to this one. Even our dogs LOVE Pt. Pinos Grill. They stop by even when the window is not open hoping to get some LOVE and treats from Pennie. So not only do you have the friendliest people working for you on the inside, but you also spread the joy outside!

Great local place to have a casual lunch or brunch at the PG Golf Links near Asilomar. Vanessa was our server and was so friendly and engaging. A+++. We ordered the chicken sandwich and a burger. Both were delicious. Dog friendly patio as well.

The perfect combo: Great views (from patio seating), great service, great food, and all that at surprisingly affordable price! We has the grilled veggies sandwich, it was good and the fries were even better. The ham quiche and houveuos rancheros were both excellent. The service is attentive (though the waiter forgot our ketchup and mayo, even after confirming twice). They also have good espresso, as well as very large TVs to enjoy the games.

Nice place to have a bite to eat right across the lighthouse. We sat on the sunny patio with a gorgeous view over the golf course to the ocean. Reasonably priced considering the location. The avocado toast was very tasty. The chicken and waffles looked really good too. Mimosas were wonderful.

This place was so good for breakfast we went back to back Saturday and Sunday! Smoked Salmon and Tomato Benedict first, Avocado toast second, it was all amazing. If you like lattes get the fog breaker, really yummy!

The only reason I didn't give a 5 on the food was I should have had the gravy to the side on the chicken and waffle, which is on me, not the restaurant. The gravy kind of overpowered the waffle/syrup, but the chicken was perfect as was the crab cakes eggs benedict. The portions were huge and best price ever on mimosa - $12 for a carafe, while the Verve coffee was excellent. Best of all though was Anna - charming, gracious, helpful while giving us ample time to peruse and figure out what we wanted. Great server we were happy to tip well. We'll be back soon.

Stopped by for a cocktail and Carlos the bartender was astounding! The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. Carlos provided excellent service immediately making you feel as though you were regular! Also, excellent salesmanship by talking about their brunch menu and the (out of this world) Bloody Mary's! So hyped up we HAD to come back the next day! DEFINITELY MET ALL EXPECTATIONS! Thank you Carlos for a wonderful memory!

Food was absolutely Divine. Portions were a bit big for Brunch, imo. Bloody Mary was amazing! Except, they served me vegetables that were bruised or turning in my Bloody Mary.

Possibly one of the best breakfast/brunch places on the Monterey Peninsula. Quality ingredients and preparation. Anna and her trainee Avery did a great job providing great service. Well worth the price. Bring a rain slicker on foggy days if you want to sit outside, it’s a few hundred feet from the ocean and gets fairly moist until the fog burns off.
