A wonderful little spot with some good food. The price is a little high but they do give you a lot of food. The dishes we had were very flavorful and well prepared. Service was great and friendly. Really enjoyed the environment of this place.
Outstanding spot for seafood or just an amazing time. I was lucky enough to meet Edgar and what a guy. Outstanding story of what hard work does. We had a bowl of clam chowder and the sea bass over lobster ravioli. Unbelievable. Finished it up with the best homemade key lime pie ever. I've eaten al
Good good and very warm service. We ordered a pasta and a fish dish. Both were amazing. The place is expensive but the food is really good. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The toilets were super clean.
Went with friends for dinner and cocktails. Large variety of cocktails and tons of entree choices. So many it was hard to decide as everything sounded fantastic! Everyone was pleased with their drinks and meal. The Portofino was a big hit - it was loaded with a variety of seafood. The dessert menu a
Located at the junction of Asilomar Ave and Sunset Drive in Pacific Grove, Fishwife is a small but mighty seafood restaurant. My wife and I had long wanted to try Fishwife and finally were able to on a recent trip to the Central Coast. The restaurant is fairly small and one can tell that the restau
Came here on a recommendation and it was great. Great service with friendly staff. Tons of selection on the menu with fresh seafood. If you're not a fan of seafood, the veggies and pasta sides are pretty great too. For the fresh quality food, the price is not too bad. Would recommend this place, e
Long running restaurant in Pacific Groves,Monterey, California. I was curious about the name why? From the history from Google, it dated back since 1830, a wealthy girl from Boston fell in love with a sailer but received no blessing from her family. They eloped and she was pregnant, he worked as a s
The calamari strips were tasty and tender, the decor was fun, and my barramundi was amazing! It was a bit loud for my liking, but most of that was due to it being a busy Saturday summer evening with lots of people enjoying the food! I'd definitely go again
We had the coconut shrimp appetizer (a little over cooked) and the Shrimp Al Pesto for an entree. It was really good! The restaurant feels a little old and run down. Service was excellent.
Exceptional lunch today at Fishwife with wife and two kids. I had the barramundi (pictured) and my wife had the tilapia (we wouldn't normally order it but the preparation description on the menu looked great). We were not disappointed. The barramundi ranks very highly with any seafood dish I've had
This restaurant was recommended by a friend of someone in our party of four. We had lunch and the service was excellent. We started with a coupon for the Calamari appetizer which was some of the best any of us had had. Each couple had a serving of Clam Chowder which while thick and creamy had very f
The food was amazing. The staff were all so nice and helpful. It's definitely a great place to go for seafood.
Absolutely amazing! Sole piccata and calamari steak are my favorites and their rotating special menu is to die for. Can't wait for my next 3 hours trip to this place
Came here after the 17 Mile drive and looking for a dog friendly seafood place. The waiter was super friendly and helped us setting up the fire pit in a chilly night. We ordered the Tilapia entrée and the Hawaiian Bowl. Our food came in luke warm so can’t tell if it was not good or just not heated e
What can I say? Three of us went into a food coma after the dinner. Food was so delicious and the service was warm. We sit in the patio where there were fires and blankets to keep us warm in chilly weather. We totally enjoyed the dining experience there. Definitely will come back if visiting Montere
If you are looking for fresh seafood and amazing service, look no further. The fish and chips was amazing. Loved the crab cake too. Shrimp cleopatra was flavourful. Must try the house hot sauce. Highly recommended.
MMMM, tasty shrimp pasta and clam chowder. Great scenery in Pacific Grove! This is near Asilomar beach in Pacific Grove. I have never been here before, and this place was highly recommended by a friend who loves coming here. The grilled prawns were perfect and juicy with a great flavor, and the Alf
Really lovely spot with a wonderful staff and fantastic food. We went for a late lunch, so it was pretty quiet, but the whole team were exceptionally welcoming. They were very accommodating of our toddler & her food allergies, and our meals were all fantastic. The hibiscus margarita was great, and
