I got to know this place last year, and every time visit this place, I come instead of Pelican Brewery, and the price is economical and the food tastes good. I always eat fish&chip here. I tried the rib eye which was perfectly cooked and came with a delightful green salad and baked potato. The atmosphere was friendly, the service was a little rough but I think they are short staffed which might be why we weren't checked on for drinks. The food was delicious.
This is my favorite go-to place when in town. If you are looking for a good old fashioned pub grub, a beer and good vibe, you need to visit this spot.
Best fish and chips ever! Everything was delicious, my boyfriend and I shared the Captains Plater with onion rings. Their prices are more than reasonable with large portions. Our waitress was polite and even brought us multiple condiments without us having to ask. We will definitely be coming back!
Other than a cue ball flying onto our table and sending an onion ring flying, it's always a great place to catch up with loved ones and meet new people. It's great atmosphere will welcome you and it's filled with history.
Huge burritos! Good food. One burrito can easily be shared by 2 people.

Good portions can easily get full if got a big appetite. The mushroom Swiss burger with JoJo's was yummy. 😀. And the bartenders had something that made me want to come back we don't support bigotry here 😀👍
We have eaten here before and thought we’d come again. I got chips and beans, hubby got a pepper jack ranch burger with beer battered fries. My chips were homemade and delicious!! Hubby loved his burger, for it not being a hand pressed burger it was delicious!! Our server was awesome and efficient.
The Fresh Dory Cod is outstanding. Look for the semi outside seating area. This is where you you want to be. Considering the quality food and service, the pricing seems fair. Don't miss this place in Pacific City. The Sportsman is where all the locals go and for good reason.
Haven't eaten there yet but absolutely will. Not a tourist novelty stop which is great.
Immediate service, great people and highly recommend.

We had the fish & chips and they were awesome! Fast friendly and reasonably priced. Great selection of pub style food and drinks.
We got the mushroom Swiss burger, and it was really good! There was music playing and people playing pool. The bar was full of people having a good time. We enjoyed our meal and the time we spent there!
Came in for lunch with my husband and had a great experience! Very nice staff. Junebug took our order had great, positive energy and greeted us with a 'Hi kids!' She was very attentive to our needs and checked on us throughout our meal. As we chilled in the bar, locals came in to get food and drink
