Pretty Girl Cupcakery

Very spacious venue, cup cakes are limited in flavor maybe 8 different flavors. Snicker doodle and the raspberry cupcakes were tasty. The cake is on the dry side, but still worth a try. The price point is common with other cupcake venues in or near DC. Customer service is good and staff gets along well.

They helped me make a decision between the Snickerdoodle and Vanilla Caramel cupcake. They were honest which I appreciated. I was happy with my final choice, the Snickerdoodle. The cupcake choices are interesting enough where you most likely will end up buying more than one because you cant decide. I actually believe that the place is a nice little place and they definitely had some pretty girls inside the cupcake was pricey but I do believe it was worth what I paid because it was delicious I had the chocolate chip cookie dough. I did come late but they only had like 4 flavors none of them were the flavor I came for I saw on there website I dont live here so I'll have to come back earlier I suppose but I had to settle for the chocolate chip cookie dough. The cupcake itself bursted with flavor and had cookie dough pieces inside and the frosting was good and it was still moist. I would not pay more than what I paid for it.

The service was okay, but my cupcake was horrible. The cupcake itself though it was moist, it was very very thick and the frosting was hard, way to sweet, and did not have a great flavor. The cupcake flavor kind of reminded me of something that I would get from a local grocery store. My five year didn't even like the cupcake or the frosting, and he loves frosting.I wanted to try something new, but I will just stick with the usual bakery that I go to for cupcakes. I would also like to make a suggestion to the Pretty Girl Cupcakery to lay off of the complex creations, until they prefect the basics first.

So our last night in town and we went to get cupcakes from this place, because we heard they were good. Well my wife and I will never know, because we got 6 cupcakes and there was a hair in 3 of them. My wife and I are both dark blond and the hair in photo is black... The cashier when getting the order wore a glove, but got them from the back, so check your order before you get them to go.

Absolutely delicious! The cake was moist and the frosting is so yummy! The place has a really nice setup and prime location by the waterfront. The customer service was great. The owner was there to take our order. She was very friendly. My wife and I ended up getting a half dozen after seeing someone with one at Elevation Burger. So worth it!
