Tacos Don Chente

This place was good and a reliable Mexican fast food joint. Reliable meaning you knew the food would be tasty. However, today I ordered a torta de buche and OMGOSHHHHHHhhhh. No bueno!! The meat had no flavor and was missing the fried toasty seasoned greatness. It seemed to have been boiled to a mushy mess. Definitely not something you wanted in your mouth. Sad, as.these days the price of fast food $30 for one torts and enchilada plater YEAWWWW. And then the let down.... no BUENO.

You would stand a better chance of being struck by lightning in a rubber-lined cave buried forty miles beneath the earth than you would getting these guys to leave cilantro off a dish if you specifically request it. I don't know of what it is, but it's is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to get food without cilantro in it no matter how clearly you explain it when ordering. If I were actually allergic, like I said I was, I would be 100% dead. Seriously. Ordered tacos, no cilantro, add cheese. This is what we got:

Good food and nice portions! The cucumber lime drink is so good!!! The seasonings and flavors of carne asada, cabeza and pastor tacos were satisfying and so were the cheese and chicken enchiladas. We ate inside of the restaurant and a mariachi band came in and serenaded us! Bring cash incase someone comes in to sell flowers!

The worst food, the worst quality and they delivered all the wrong items, everything spilled, and not one thing was quality food, do not go here. Bad! I ordered the fried egg with chilaquiles with green sauce. A runny egg with red sauce is what I got. This place is horrible. See picture for yourself.

Bought 2 dinners today and paid for chips asked for 2 salsas at the window girl said they are in my dinner, when I got home no salsa I drive all the way back to the restaurant and the girl argued with me that she gave it to me called a manager and she wanted to see a receipt for the dinners I told her I would not have driven all the way back to get salsa i had to beg her and she gave me 2 small containers, I took it but didn't appreciate the service it was lousy, Bobby's Burrito in Camarillo has much better service. I won't eat there anymore.
