Tried for the first time and they had an extended wait. It was a Saturday night I think... I arrived to pick up and it turned out their second oven was down and couldn't crank out the pizzas fast enough. I gentleman came out and apologized to everyone and explained. I had requested my pizza to be well done and he tried his best. Ive been the food maker behind the counter before, I understand. Just impressed with how much he cared. Everything was great! We'll pick up again soon.
When the first thing you notice when walking into a is two old guys yelling at each other in Italian, you've found a good place. All the better if those guys are the ones making the food.... We found this place on google and thought we'd give it a try. (Another sign of a good pizza place is that you've never seen a tv commercial for it.) And were not disappointed. Once they stopped yelling at each other, the staff were friendly and courteous, even joking with my daughter about putting anchovies on her pizza. And it is GOOD pizza. Good flavor, no ingredient was overpowering, and cooked to crisp and yum.
The best pizza in Oxford! Crispy, thin crust. Large pizza couldn't fit in my oven! Delicious!
I always enjoy Andre's, but a rule of thumb, if you don't see a price on something, it's more expensive than you thought. One adult and four kids, nothing extravagant, but $90 was way more than expected.
