Nice place on the waterfront for a meal. Caprese appetizer was very tasty. Plenty for 2. Rockfish wrap was excellent, moist and fresh. Beers were nice. All in all a good place to grab a meal. Service was good too.
We've been going to this spot for 30 years. It's changed names and owners but the food is always great and nothing beats sitting next to the water and enjoying a great meal.
Drinks were on point. We had appetizers and we liked them so much we ordered another round of apps! Ashley was wonderful. Very attentive and friendly. We'll be back! Thank you
We try to take a trip to the Eastern Shore of Maryland at least once a year. The towns of St. Michaels, Easton and Oxford are beautiful and there is plenty to do.
One of our first stops is always Doc's Sunset Grille. The staff has always been really nice to us. On this visit, Mimi was very friendly and mixed a great daiquiri There is nothing better than a glass of wine or a strawberry daiquiri while looking out over Chesapeake Bay. One of our favorite birds is the double crested cormorant and they love to hang out at the pier in front of Doc's.
We highly recommend a visit to Doc's while in Oxford, Md or while visiting the Eastern Shore.
Quite possibly the best seafood I've ever had. So glad I listened to the locals that recommended. Had seafood nachos, cream of crab soup and fish tacos. Delicious. Fun atmosphere, right on the water, great service. Can't wait to go back.
Amazing location, great outdoor seating, delicious food and fun staff. The spicy shrimp with onions was excellent and the shrimp were HUGE! Also had the caprese salad with tomatoes and baratta cheese and garlic toast. SO GOOD!!! See pics for details. 😁
We were in town and looking for a place to eat. This place didn't disappoint. Staff was friendly and the food was delicious. My husband had the rockfish and it was delicious. I had the mac burrito, it was so good. The views were amazing. Would definitely eat here again.
Through a strange confluence of events, I found myself in Oxford with a couple of co-workers on a Tuesday night. We dropped by Mac's to have some drinks and apps.
First things first, the outside atmosphere was awesome. The weather was perfect, and we had a great time enjoying the view on the deck.
Second, the crab balls were dynamite. Lots of back fin in them, when this is often a claw meat sort of appetizer. Truly, I would go back to Mac's, and make a dinner of the things with fries and some slaw.
Third, after a little bit of a slow start, the service was really good. The crab balls came out fresh, and our beers were cold and poured correctly. Plus the server was friendly.
All told, I understand why Mac's is so popular. If I ever make it back to Oxford, I will definitely go back. This time for a couple more beers and something else off the menu.
First time here. Friday night, good crowd. There was a band but we sat on the far side from them. I had the crab cakes. They were fantastic. Jumbo lump. Everything was great from the drinks to the food. Sunset was fantastic. Will definitely come back.
Recently sat outside for dinner at Doc's with my wife and toddler son. Service was prompt and attentive, the food was excellent, and the patio was beautiful right on the water. We had a great time and I am looking forward to going back sometime in the future.

Sat outdoors and had an awesome time. Food came out very quickly and everything was cooked to perfection. For the number of patrons served at once, the staff did a very good job at managing the traffic. Will definitely consider a return next time I’m in Oxford.
We came here to sit on the water, have a draft beer and eat some prime bar food. We got exactly what we wanted. We had the Maryland crab soup and the burger topped with hot crab dip. The soup could have been a bit hotter but the taste was great. The burger was great!

The food here was good but not anything to write home about. The service was pretty good until it was time for the check, so we had to ask for to leave. The atmosphere wasn't special, but it is on the waterfront and the view is spectacular!!!

I was disappointed in their tuna. I actually sent it back because it was tough and difficult to cut. They gave me another cut, and although it wasn't as tough, the sauce wasn't good. I will never order tuna from there again. I also got a spinach salad. I haven't had a good spinach salad in years and unfortunately, I still haven't. Spinach is hard to eat when you leave the long stems on. It is a beautiful place and the drinks were delicious. My friends and I were talking about good looking actors and fun movies. We talked about "Failure to Launch" and Matthew McConaughey and how funny Terry Bradshaw was in the movie. When we walked into the little gift shop, there was a poster of "Failure to Launch" and a write-up about them filming some of the movie there. How ironic!
