I LOVE Moon Co-op. I go for their deli sandwiches/wraps almost weekly. Their food is so fresh and the quality is top notch. I’d spend more at McDonald’s for a stomach ache, and who wants that? Literally, a wrap is the same price as a chicken sandwich and fake French fries there, and here you know you’re getting nutritious REAL food. They have a lot of gluten free options which is nice too. The owner recently told me that if there is something you’d like, he can likely order it and have it within two weeks. I love the local produce, where else can you find mushrooms like these?!
I love this place <3 They have such a good variety of vegan and organic items, and they're reasonably priced. They also have a lunch counter that makes amazing sandwiches :) The people are friendly and so sweet. Def check it out if you haven't already!
If you're looking for the perfect healthy grocery store in Oxford that provides vegan, vegetarian, or just healthy foods this is the place for you! It is sort of hidden in the back of a shopping centre, but once you find Moon Co-Op you will be pleasantly surprised. Although the food is a tad bit pricey (but what do you expect from natural organic food?) the variety within this store is vast. There's fresh vegetables, healthy alternatives, a candy station, a houseware/cleaning section, and even a bar where fresh smoothies are made. I highly recommend shopping here :)

Great place to find locally made fermented kimchi, kraut and salsa. They also have a huge selection of bulk grains and nuts. Very friendly staff, that go out of their way to help with any questions. Will gladly return for my family's nutritional needs. This newly found store, will allow me to expand my exploration into new gastro delights!
I’ve been to coops all over the country and this is by far one of the best. So many local products, love the fresh smoothies and sandwiches, great selection for such a quaint store and beautiful setting. Staff is very kind and helpful.
Today was my first time visiting Moon Co-Op after many have recommended it to me. I had the best experience. I had no idea how to do the ordering because it was my first time in and the staff was so kind and so helpful. And everything we got was delicious! I plan to come back often!
Love this shop. Since new management came there are fewer local farmers products from when it first opened, but some still remain. It's still all organic foods so the cost is higher than buying from big chain stores.
The organic foods are less processed and are nonGMO foods , I believe they're healthier and buying organic foods is like an investment to better physical and mental health, so it's definitely worth it in my opinion. Staff are Always helpful and friendly. Should definitely visit Moon if you haven't already!
This place is the closest that you're gonna get to a Whole Foods around here. They have all organic items and a wide vegan selection. Definitely hit or miss with the prices, but their bulk selection is reasonable and they also have a little corner where you can order sandwiches, soups, and smoothies! Got a vegan sandwich tonight for $7- it was delicious. I love to support these guys.
I love Moon Co-Op! We recently moved to the area and love that there is a place nearby where we can stock up on our bulk items. I love being able to bring my own containers to refill from the bulk bins as well because I have not been able to do this in the past at other stores and am actively trying to reduce my plastic waste. The staff has always been very nice and the food is very yummy as well!
We were so thankful to find somewhere that served vegan options close to where we were staying for a weekend getaway. The staff was really friendly and the food was delicious. We enjoyed the vegan spread wraps from the deli.

Wonderful products, the bulk section is amazing and quite affordable. Excellent gluten-free and paleo selections, but also delicious treats for everyone. Try their milk and jasmine green tea! The best ever. For great shopping with a nice personal touch, you cannot go wrong with Moon.
A nice place to buy local baked goods from some of the farmer's market vendors. Many hard-to-find items you can appreciate. I have also enjoyed frozen Indian food options and some spices. Favorite thing here is Ohio creamery products- again, expensive, but reflect the true cost of running a family dairy. I wish everyone in town would visit and see how the Coop can fit into their lives- even an occasional visit is a help for local producers.
The staff are so nice, the store is so cute, and the food is good! I ordered a veggie sandwich and they put some really good vegan cheese on it and switched out the bread for gluten-free. They also actually had some perfectly ripe bananas out that my boyfriend and I bought and ate later. Very good. :)
I have lived in Oxford for 3.5 years and just ventured down to the co-op today after hearing many great reviews from friends. I am sad that it took so long for me to go! They have a great selection of produce, meats, dairy prouducts and healty snacks/quick meals. They also have many selections for people with dietary restrictions. I had a great sandwich made by Chef Kyle. Every single person in the store was so incredibly nice. I am going back tomorrow for breakfast!
Moon CoOp is a great little place for fresh, local and organic food. They can make you something for lunch in their deli, or pick up a refrigerated dish made from local food from off of their shelves.
Great little co-op with high quality and good variety. Hidden gems include the beer selection and lunch counter.
The last review from Amber Mockbel couldn’t be further from the truth. The Moon CO-OP is one of the finest business I’ve ever been too. The staff is full of extraordinary people. Moon was simply adhering to Governor Dewines mask mandates in Butler County but Ms.Mockbell wanted to make a big stink out of it because protecting yourself from a potentially deadly virus is for “Communists” shame on her for trying to hurt such a lovely small business. She saw no cockroaches or anything of the sort, she was simply mad because she was asked to do the right thing. Amber if you get a chance to read this please don’t come back to the store, tractor supply might be more your speed with your big horse teeth.
Kind people work here! Needed goat milk for this rescued baby and the lady working made sure we got it! It's nice to have a store that is so dedicated to the community!
