I haven’t been to Eggspectations in a very long time. My friend and I asked the waiter a few suggestions of items to try. We had the Cajun Shrimp and grits (not pictured because it was devoured too soon :-( they were absolutely divine. We also had the chicken and waffles and the firecracker shrimp. We both loved the chicken and waffles but the firecracker shrimp wasn’t the best to me. Not bad but not the best. I would absolutely return. Great and friendly service as well.
Amazing dining experience. From the hosts to the server and even busser went above and beyond. Our server was Brandon. He offered me options on what I could substitute because I am on keto. He was attentive and extremely nice. I ordered the meat lovers omelette and my friend ordered chicken and waffles. BOTH were delicious and seasoned to perfection. Overall I will be back for sure! Especially when I can cheat on my diet for something sweet!
I have crazy mixed feelings about this place.. The restaurant itself is very nice and perfect for brunch with the gals or your significant other.. The service was ok, not memorable.. I disliked my meal, but I believe that’s just because realized shrimp and grits aren’t my thing. It was my first time trying it and I was not a fan. I do believe that if I was a fan of shrimp and grits, I wouldn’t have any complaints. The presentation was nice and the flavor was there, I personally just didn’t enjoy it... Also, my partner did not like the pancakes. They were gritty. For that reason I will give it a 4.
Got eggsactly what we eggspected. Great food, great service and reasonable prices!!! We had their Cajun Shrimp and Grits topped with an Over Easy, an All American with a side of Lemon Ricotta and Blueberry Pancakes and an All American with a side of Pumpkin and Cream Cheese Pancakes. Strong Coffee to wash it all down. Definitely recommend and certainly will return when in the area.
Very busy Saturday but I secured a seat at the bar (first come, first serve). I ordered the Lobster Benny and a strawberry mimosa. Both were delicious. The lobster meat was lump and plentiful.
Went on a very busy Sunday morning around 11am. Our waiter, Myles, was accurate and attentive. Food came out surprisingly quick and tasted amazing. Southwest omelette was so DELICIOUS! S’mores French toast was way too sweet for my liking, but if you love Nutella, I’d recommend it.
Eggs every way you can imagine and all of them are delicious! Not in the mood for eggs - the hamburgers are great too. Save room for one of the amazing sweet desserts too
