Golden Corral

The food was average for a buffet and the staff was all polite. Our personal waitress was excellent and made sure our drinks were full. The issue I had was the dishes. Most of the plates had food particles left from the washing process. Picking up a bowl in the rack resulted in a sticky residue being transferred to my own hand. I don't often care about the little things because stuff happens and sometimes dishes don't get clean, but this was excessive. Finding a clean dish shouldn't be difficult in a restaurant which has racks specifically for clean dishes. I always give restaurants two visits before I write them off completely so I will eventually return, but to be honest I'm not sure it will be any time soon. Hopefully whoever is in charge of dishes gets their act together in the near future. Will update when I return.

I love Golden Corral. I've never had any problems any of the times I've been there. Food is always good and fresh. Our waitress Renae was pretty amazing tonight. She interacted with the kids so much and she also kept up with our drinks so well and kept the tables cleared. All the staff there are always nice.

Unfortunately this Golden Corral is not one of their best. Went for the 99 cents kids meal. Has something for everyone. Fried chicken was delicious. Most vegetables seem like canned. Their rolls, easiest the best thing there, they put them out with no warmer and they were cold and a little hard. Someone said they no longer bake on premises. Too bad. They would melt in your mouth. Salad bar selection was good, but bowls were dirty and too much cross contamination between the options. That happens with a salad bar, but this was just about everything. Yucky!
