I don't come to Owensboro very often so I Googled "best lunch in Owensboro" and Bill's was at the top of the list. A coworker and I had lunch yesterday. There is a small but varied menu. We both loved our meals and the server was attentive. We also had dessert and it was fabulous. I will definitely be back again. Perfect lunch!
The best place in Kentucky hands down. The chef/owner Bill Hughes is a culinary genius. 10 out of 10 would recommend this place.
The pork chops are the best I have ever eaten. The service is great and the ambience is wonderful. Highly recommend Bill's!

A rare gem amongst restaurants and one of the best in this area. There isn't a place anywhere close where the seafood selections are as diverse or delicious as they are at Bills and what keeps me coming back. The wait staff is professional, attentive and very accommodating. Most definitely worth a try!
Bill's is truly a serendipitous find. A culinary treasure. I have eaten many meals at this restaurant in the last year and a half each of which were exquisite with regard to preparation and presentation. With regard to taste one word will suffice – scrumptious!! If you are visiting Owensboro and you have the time, you simply must have dinner at Bill's.
Food was wonderful. Atmosphere perfect. But what took it up a notch was our fabulous server, Elizabeth. She was engaging, full of information and just a rare find in service these days. I will definitely be back!

If you are simply looking for a meal, I suggest that you dine elsewhere. If you are looking for a truly, outstanding dining experience; this is the place. Bill is not only a supremely gifted chef but an adventurous one. Bill's Restaurant sets the bar for culinary excellence in Owensboro.
We are very lucky to have this restaurant in Owensboro. I have a fraternity brother in for the KBA meeting that will be joining me for dinner tonight. He is in for a special treat!
This is the best restaurant in western Kentucky. It's not even close.
I had been craving crab cakes. I went to Bills and had an awesome dinner. Crab cakes, salad, and salmon stuffed with crab, mashed potatoes and vegetables! Oh and don't forget the fresh baked bread! The food was excellent and so was the service! Thanks for the hospitality!
I know, I know. Make a reservation next time but I have to say (Thank You) to the staff for not throwing me out when I walked in unannounced and without a reservation. The mixed grill was incredible!! Service was outstanding and smiling faces all around. I will definitely be back but will make a reservation in the future for the entire fam. 😀
This place has the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. The sushi is crazy good as well. Great selection of beer. Love the atmosphere.

The restaurant is small with just enough seating.
The menu is also small: specific dishes on the menu for what the chef has in stock. This also means that the dishes are fresh, unique, and most importantly delicious! I had the New York Strip; it was cooked an absolutely perfect medium-rare. Every single bit was cooked the same. The mashed potatoes, vegetable sides, and sauce were perfect.
In addition, the wait staff was attentive but not imposing. When we had a need, they ensured we were taken care of, but they did not hover.
The drinks were prepared as ordered, and the cocktails we're not watered down.
The only complaint would be that when the restaurant is full, it got a bit loud. The acoustics may be the only thing wrong with the entire meal - and quite frankly, the food, service, and drinks were well worth having to speak up with company.
Bill's Restaurant is amazing, reason a reservation is needed due Chef Bill please all his customers cooking each one of the delicious and tasty options in the menu with fresh ingredients and original recipes created for him and inspired in most of the countries he has visited 👌truly recommended 👏💯👏
Quality Meals and service here is quality. The staff was very welcoming and sociable. This place has a good design.
Atmosphere was fantastic. Food was excellent. Had crab cakes for an appetizer. For entree the Tasmainian salmon stuffed with crab served with green beans, and mashed potatoes was amazing. Will be going back specifically for this dish.

All is right with world because Bill’s restaurant has reopened! Impeccable service from people who care about the quality of their food. Our dinners of salmon and Shrimp and grits were fresh and inventive. Support this local dining treasure and reserve a table soon.
A fav spot for delicious Quality Meals. Great place to relax, people watch, eat good food or all the above. Looking forward to a return trip. The place has an awesome feel to it. Makes me feel like I am back in Sacramento.
