This was our second time at this location. After a horrible first experience, Bill from BBD personally called to ask us to give it another shot. They hit it out of the ball park. Angela was great, food was wonderful, just excellent.

Food was really good. Had chicken fried steak with baked potato. Came with green beans and a corn muffin. I don't like cornbread but these were awesome.. Didn't even taste like corn. Breakfast at Black Bear Diner was an excellent experience. Little bears danced on the curtains, and throughout the rooms. Newspaper printed menus sat on the table before us offering a feeling of times long forgotten. The food was delicious, portions plentiful, and prices good. And our server, Lea,

First time ever eating at this chain. This restaurant didn't disappoint. I was worried since there wasn't a lot of patrons when we arrived at 845pm. Very large portions.

Last night my club sandwich was great and my wife had the open face hot turkey sandwich. The turkey had good flavor. Needed more gravy. She asked for additional gravy. They brought some out but it was cold. Otherwise dinner was great. Service was great too.

Good thing we arrived hungry...the portions are HUGE!! Menu is chock full of comfort food & what we had did not disappoint.
