Reviews of Kimchi Korean Restaurant

I was craving authentic Korean food and wanted to show my friend what the rave was about so I took them here. We ordered the bibimbap in the hotstone bowl and naegmyeon, all of which come with side dishes. The quality of food and service were amazing and we had a great time. Would definitely come back and recommend.

This is my favorite local Korean restaurant. I am a regular here, and i bring my family and guests here. Food is really great! I love Korean cuisine and have tried a lot of Korean restaurants here in the US, in Korea, and other countries, and this is one of the most authentic taste you can get outside of Korea. Kudos to the chef! Only one constructive comment, they have been tight with their Banchan (variety of small dishes). Banchan is typically served before the main course. I noticed recently, they have been serving Banchan very very close to the main course, which is unusual for a Korean restaurant. They may have a reason for doing this - but it is disappointing. Note we always order a lot every time, they can not say we are only there for the Banchan! I hope the owner hears this honest feedback- at least allow Banchan to be served earlier, when requested.

Kimchi Korean is a great place for introducing yourself or friends to Korean food. The food itself is really tasty, and very generous, and the staff were attentive and kind. Although we arrived an hour before closing, our server didn't rush us at all, and our food came out promptly. We started with the tteokbokki and beef/veggie fried mandu- both delicious and definitely worth ordering. Then we actually got one of the sharing casseroles which is started in the kitchen, and then finishes at your table on a portable burner. We got the seafood platter which is advertised for a minimum of 2 people. It's a great meal and comes with sides and rice, and it's healthy, tasty, and super filling. We also got a plate of bulgogi which I HIGHLY recommend - it was so tasty that we kept going back for it even though we were full!!

UPDATE: it's 2022 and I'm back again. Still a great place to eat. Added some photos of what I got this time. Best place for that Korean feel and food. I'm a K-drama freak so I had high expectations when I first went and I've been going ever since! I've dragged about all my friends to have lunch here every Sunday. It met all my standards! Plus the ladies are really nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend the Ramyen and Dolsot bibimbab.
