Very quaint and busy cafe in the Byward market. They have some excellent coffee and butter croissants. The baristas are very sweet and polite. Highly recommend. Good quantity of coffee, todo and dine in options available.

I went to Ottawa last weekend. Much of the downtown had closed their doors, this cafe was in full swing and had washrooms open to the public which I really appreciated since I have kids. The staff was efficient and courteous and the food was excellent. I will definitely be back!

I love this place! I come here all the time with friends and family. Great location and the owners give genuinely good service. Food and coffee is always spot on aswell!

July 25, 2021: I sat at Byward Café and got a salmon and cream cheese sandwich. A yummy way to get my Omega 3!

Went there yesterday and most inclusive place with great treats and delicious coffee. At one point everyone broke out into O' Canada...most patriotic experience on my visit to the Capital. The rest of my visit coming from TO was disappointing since the government decided to show itself and assault its Canadian people.

What in incredible experience! Coffee was amazing, the coconut/chocolate bar (gluten free) was delish, the bathroom was clean and the staff... So nice! I will definitely go back on my next visit. ❤️
