We were at this restaurant on July 5, 2018 at noon. The place was packed and we were still impressed. We sat at the counter so we were able to see the goings on by the grill and at the cash register. Two individuals stand out. The manager, Terry, was very calm and collected. He was fast, efficient, and never seemed to be upset. He cooked burgers, plated orders, took money, sat customers, etc. He never once got loud or seemed flustered. Very good managerial skills. One waitress, Brenda, was also very efficient. She seemed to really know how to do everything. Every time she walked past us, she asked if we needed anything. She also remained very calm and collected. The line to be seated was out the door the entire time we were there, but these two kept if moving and never ever seemed flustered or overwhelmed. Well done to each of them. Keep up the good work.
There was a waiting line when we got there but it wasn’t too long and we got seated and the service was fast.
Seevice was very fast....and food was excellent...ive never had bad service or anything at that one. Job well done!!

Honestly, not sure why, but this was first time I had seen the place so empty. The food was better then when I had it few years ago, so when I didn't see anyone filling up seats, I was shocked. 4 of use ate there, and the food was better quality and cheaper then most fast food places within 30 miles! Our waiter was young but very attentive, almost too much but like I said, the place was empty. I definitely am impressed, and will be a re-turning fan of Steak'n Shake! (Side note, the onion rings were amaaaaziing!)
We were so excited to see a steak n shake open! All the locations in our hometown closed. Service was great and the food was really good!
Food was good. Get cheese fries to help the crunchy thin fries stay firm and nit harden up.
I had the Frisco burger, and it popped with all that butter.
My girl friend had a double cheese burger and fries. She had to take the pickles off to keep the garden from sliding off.
Good food but watch out for those thin hard fries.
I've been here many times, and you know what you're going to steak and shake for. Everything I've ordered has been correct and delicious. The people were pleasant and the place was clean.

Great place to stop in for a quick, affordable, bite, or shake to make your day or vacation better in Osage Beach. Hopefully, you will get the cute Doris with the purple hair as your server. She was great. Make sure to give her a big tip.

Went thru the drive thru busy place. Order came out hot and fast. Everything was good. Order was complete.
We were pleasantly surprised actually. The food was really good and reasonably priced. We were there during happy hour and five of us ate for less than $28! The fold up car was a hit with our 12 year old grandson. The server was so friendly too! The shakes were amazing. We'll be back when we're this way again.
My favorite fast food place, and it doesn't feel like a fast food place. Still the best shakes and burgers around! And, you can feed 3 people for under $20 with their $4 menu. Always fast and friendly staff.. Two thumbs up 😁!
