Not a French pastry expert, but everything was great. Nothing tasted processed. The young man who helped us was pleasantly helpful and knowledgeable of what they made and sold. Cannot find anything to complain about. If I lived in the area I would frequent this bakery.

This place is a staple. Quaint, great prices, reliable, DELICIOUS, consistent.. my father would bring me here after school 25 years ago to get his beloved french baguette (he compared it to some of the best in France and NY!) and I'd always get the little chocolate man sandwich cookie 😻 they have THE best tarts (raspberry is my favorite), little cookies, rainbow cookies and apricot/raspberry filled ones, butter cookies, croissants. Just high quality taste and value. To compare, I recently tried the "French bakery" in New Smyrna and was so disappointed... Places like that are what can only be described as Americanized versions of what a true, classic French bakery should be (this one). There is no need for giant, sugary, somewhat bland but HUGE and SWEET pastries and items. It's all about the ingredient quality and care that goes into these enjoyable treats. Ormond's French bakery knows this and honors it - without feeling any need to compete with the "bigger is better" style of most other bakeries you'll find.. and that I can only describe as Americanized dessert shops. This place has integrity and is the real deal. Not to mention, 35+ years in business!! Highly recommend ❤️

Oh my goodness the lemon tart was heaven. The crust, the filling and the top were perfect. I hated when the last bite was gone. I will be having more. There were so many wonderful treats. I got a few and was planning my next trip as I drove off.

I ordered two quiche Lorraine at the last minute and The French Bakery accommodated me; and the quiches were excellent, enjoyed by my entire family on mother's day.

Incredible bakery and pastry shop!! We went almost every day. Our favorites were the raspberry croissants, butter cookies, and linzer tarts. Fantastique! A must visit :)

Beyond delicious. The croissants are buttery delicious and the bavarois is pure happiness. I will return and stock up on the croissants, including the chocolate, and make this my go to for pastries that make me feel joyful. Yeah, it's good! And totally unexpected in Daytona Ormond BSB area.
