Lemon Grass Bistro

My husband and I have been coming to Lac Viet consistently since it opened around 15 years ago. The quality has been superlatively amazingly consistent. In all that time, the service is generally prompt with nice friendly smiles. We always feel welcome here with our children.The cuisine is expertly executed and the presentation flawless. My favorite is the Tum Yum soup, while my husband adores the Beef Stew. While Tum Yum is considered a Thai dish, Lac Viet are geniuses in its preparation. My 18 year old has eaten here since she was 3, she now is a huge fan of Lac Viet. I can tell you this business is good to families. Unlike hipster hangouts, you're never to made to feel guilty for breeding. Extra plates, high chairs, and boosters are never a problem. In addition, the dining space is open, inviting, while the walls are covered with lovely traditional art. Did I mention the Tamarind Beef appetizer? Your mouth will swear it died and went to heaven. Of course there is a wonderful selection of vegetarian havings. They take reservations for large parties, have a private dining room for these and also make a romantic setting for a date night. You can't go wrong with Lac Viet.

This restaurant has great food with many Vegan options to choose from. I had the vegan duck with steamed veggies and rice the appetizer was spring rolls with peanut sauce for dipping. The price was awesome only 10 dollars and the service was quick and professional the atmosphere was awesome and relaxing. Near the Fashion Square mall it has a great location I highly recommended this place. Cinco Estrellas 2 thumbs up

I have lived in Orlando the better part of 20 years and visited Lac Viet Bistro for the very first time a few days ago. I wish I hadn't overlooked it for so long! The food is very good. The staff very welcoming and it is just a very pleasant experience overall. If you have not stopped by for a meal you really should. I suspect you'll end up a repeat customer.

Menu has a wide selection of both Southern and Northern Vietnamese dishes. We had Gỏi Cuốn (Summer Rolls-the name is swapped on their menu), Bún Bò Huế (spicy beef soup) and the Lạc Việt Noodle (house special). The summer rolls were very good. The spicy beef was authentic and not as spicy as some of the other restaurants in Mills 50. The house special was just OK. Overall good food, more expensive than other neighboring Vietnamese restaurants.

Great food, one of the best pho in town. Outside seating is good as well, especially during the colder season. Staff is friendly and attentive. Only reason for 4 stars is the bathroom and interior seems to be a little bit old and not well maintained. Food was cooked to perfection as well as generous portions. Will definitely come back and worth the drive there.
