We got the pineapple pulled pork sandwich and ribs platter. The ribs was delicious but the sandwich was too messy and not that great. The fries and mango slaw that it comes with though are very delicious

I thought the options sounded fantastic especially for a water park and they looked pretty great. Generous servings. Refill bar for self service. But the actual taste of the food was not that great sadly. I have to really praise the staff though. They kept the place clean and were helpful and accommodating, thank you so much for that. Our stay was wonderful even though the taste could be tweaked a little bit we were still very happy. We pre-ordered Mobil and it made it all very fast.

The food is great, from the breakfast pizza, to the kohala burger. My main issue is the staff can be rude at times, then the ice machine on the cola refill are seemingly always out. I remember visiting two years ago and the ice was out. A dedicated ice machine would be a much best idea

I visited Volcano Bay the summer of 2021 and ate in this restaurant. The food was delicious. I really loved the Chicken Coconut curry. My husband ate ribs his salad had fruit in it was also delicious.

This isn't as easy as it could be. Each line only serves a few things not the full menu. Once you get in a proper line it moves fairly quickly.
Food was delicious although I would like to have twice as much jerk seasoning on the mahi sandwich.

We ate pizza, it was pretty good. Also the mobile ordering wait time was like 5 minutes while the line was more like 20 minutes. So order on the universal app.

The bad: Mobile order is very slow, especially compared to the Lucky Cauldron and Thunder Falls Terrace at Universal where they even have to bring the food to you. Here it’s just pickup and honestly not sure if just waiting in line to grab the food would’ve been faster. Also, for the size of the dishes, they’re way overpriced - but all theme park food is :(.
The good: I got the Coconut Curry Chicken and my boyfriend got the Kohola Chicken Sandwich Combo. The portions were a good size and assembled fresh since we got mobile pickup. My dish was tasty and had lots of curry and chicken, and the rice was soft and fluffy. The plantains were also sweet and grilled well. My boyfriend said he liked his sandwich and there was a big portion of fries.

Lines to get food took a while because every other food option in the park was closed. I got the coconut chicken and my sister got the turkey wrap. Decent food nothing spectacular, it just took a while to get through the line. They do offer mobile ordering.

My family and I have food allergies and when we arrived to eat we personally asked the chef to help us chose the proper selection as to not get sick afterwards.

He took the time to prepare our dishes with new gloves and extra caution as to not cross contaminate the food. The entire family DID NOT get sick after eating.
The food was tasty for lunch and was worth the extra time it took to wait.
Our advice to anyone eating here when visiting Volcano Bay:
GET HERE EARLY!!
This place is packed on by 1030 and it is hard to not spend a bunch of time standing in line.
Good luck and make sure you review the menu before hand to accelerate the food preparation process.
