Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Food was fresh. They made a special batch of a veggie dish they were out of. Restaurant was clean and uncrowded . Bathrooms were clean. Food was great, fresh, and hot.

Best Chinese in town! We have tried so many places, but this one gets it right every time. Better yet, it arrives excellently packed and HOT even using Uber Eats! You can’t beat this place. So good, particularly the fried rice and beef lo mein!

Editing my review from 4 years ago… I always have to wait for new batch of kung pao chicken. Please make double the amount since it seems to be a popular item. Noon is a busy time so prepare in advance. Tastes so good though😊

My mom and I really enjoyed the food everything was clean and the customer service experience we receive was OK I’ve been here many times the same location because of the quality of the food is always very nice and just what you pay for to enjoy yourself

I ordered delivery through their website as soon as they opened. My food tasted fresh. I saw a lot of bad reviews recently and was worried. I guess you’re better off ordering closer to when they open so the food comes out good. I also appreciate that they do fundraising. I ordered because they were giving back money to my friends charity that day.

More than enough food for lunch, considering the caloric content. However, portion size has definitely shrunk the last time I was at a panda which is probably a couple of years. This is no different than any other fast food restaurant out there. For $11.82 I got lo mein, Beijing beef, and orange chicken. The chicken and beef tasted great but the lo mein was really dry and I walked in here pretty much at opening.
I originally was going to one of the Korean chicken places around the corner until I looked at their menu and it probably would have cost me more than $20 for lunch over there. Much better value at Panda Express

I received less beef than desired even though I paid a premium for it. The super greens only had broccoli, no other greens. No knives, I like eating with both a fork and a knife, this isn't London so stop the political baloney.

The reason I don’t give 5 star to this panda express is because this is a hit or miss, I guess it depends who is cooking. -%75 of the time is very good

Giant panda is the worst experience I've ever had with a restaurant. This place should be shut down for health violations !!! I've eaten there a total of 3 times because
of the cheap priced for college students but honestly every time it was horrible. The food is alway cold, and when ever they bring out new plates of food it's never cooked to completion. There are roaches every where! I was sitting down in the section near the kitchen and there were 3 roaches crawling on the walls. The bathrooms are never cleaned & the service is horrible. The last time I went for lunch and they charged me for dinner and would not fix my bill. I wouldn't have mind paying for dinner if the food wasn't so horrible! I literally spit out everything I tried. It just doesn't make sense to me why they're still opened !! It was a horrible experience and I honestly don't recommend anyone ever eating there.

Second time being there and it will be our last. Food was all old and cold and when we asked why we were told it was not busy enough for them to put out fresh food. The only reason i did not give 1 star is because the hibachi was atleast mediocre and the server only charged us for one person since we were so let down.

For years, I never had problems eating in Giant Panda chinese Buffee. Often I go there during lunch time because every thing is fresh cooked. Over 200 hundred selecrion such as New York steaks, sea foods, sushi , fried duck, pork, chicken, noodles, fruits, salad , cakes, nuts, ice cream, oh it's just too many to mention. You've got to go and eat there. You wont be sorry. Considering the price is so reasonable, $ 8.00 to 13.00 per person. It is great to eat there. I love it.

My wife and I had lunch there today and we have both had the runs ever since. The fried fish with so hard I couldn't even cut it with a fork, the fried shrimp was over cooked, the fried rice was very dry, and the shrimp I had done on the hibachi grill doesn't seem like it was cooked all the way through. By that point I was pretty disappointed with the whole experience.

every time we have been to this place food is good. waiters are friendly too.

I have been to Giant Panda several times since they have opened, at least 3 times for lunch and about 4 times for dinner. My first visit here was for lunch with my wife. Neither of us was overly impressed with the buffet. The food was average at best and their sushi was not bad but considering they were new, we figured that it was just them "settling in" since it was only a few days after they opened. We returned about a month later and they had ALL of their buffets filled with a variety of things but again, it was average at best. The sushi was still the best thing they were offering to be blunt.
I stopped in a several more times myself and once with a very good friend that was visiting from overseas at his request. Each and every time the overall quality was about the same and the last trip the food quality had even gone down. I was hoping over time it would get better but that was not the case.
Tonight was my first trip back after about 4 months and the steam tables looked good from afar but when I started my sampling, I found that things had gotten worse. The fried shrimp was overcooked and not very fresh and this was in the heart of the dinner hour. The spring rolls are now small and flavorless. The Hot and sour soup was very bland and that was one of their better items when they opened up. The coconut shrimp was overly sweet and chewy. General Tso's chicken was really disappointing. I could go on and on but what would be the point.
I figured the sushi was still decent so I took one of each of the ones they had out. Their sushi rice was overcooked and four of them were so bad I spit them into a napkin. It has been a long time since I have spit something into my napkin to be blunt. I hoped that their desserts were going to save the day. I was sadly mistaken. The crème puff was stale, the coffee cake was OK at best and there was some kind of custard that they did not have labeled but the bite I took I spit into my napkin.
East Orlando really could use a great Chinese buffet but after several chances, Giant Panda is just not it in my opinion. After my trip there tonight, I don't believe I will be giving them another chance.
To the owner:
You guys really could have cornered the market because East Orlando really needs a GREAT Chinese Buffet.. I really hoped that over time you guys would really step it up because of how close you are and how much I really love Chinese food. It really does pain me to write this review because you have a GREAT location, HUGE selection but are not really delivering on the flavor. It is apparent you put a lot of effort into the atmosphere and selection but are dropping the ball on flavor and food quality. Just because the MAJORITY of your customers are students from UCF does not mean you will get away with serving mediocre food. I spent $15 for a buffet of subpar food and a glass of iced tea + tip. I could have gone to about 30 other places that are less than a mile away and spent the same amount for a much better meal. I am not a huge fan of Golden Corral but for the same price I can go across the street and get steak, a huge salad bar and a variety of choices. They are definitely not 5 star but they are at least consistent in the quality of what they serve.

I was in at 3:45 in the afternoon and the dinner menu was already at all and moved everything it was very dry like I've been sitting here all day

Food was soggy and luke warm at best. Staff was friendly enough except the few back by the sushi area.

I love this place...always go with mom cuz she loves it. Yesterday December 24th went with my boyfriend and the lady was faking to be polite and keep looking what I eat than when I was gonna pay she came running to me and says " i am the one that take it" makes me feel like if I was gonna run and not pay than she brought the change and stay there until I gave her the tip which she wasn't happy at all. I will continue to go there and don't let it bother me cuz love there food.
