We had a wonderful experience at Taj Punjabi. we visited about 10pm on a Sunday night. It was a short 2 block walk from our resort.
Our was server was a delightful, warm, and friendly woman who is studying for as Master of Science in IT. The food was hot when it arrived and everything tasted as it should. The food was fresh, deeply flavorful, and filling. The serving portion was just the right amount. I found the prices to be average or slightly higher than what I've seen in similar establishments. The quality of the food is much better than anything we have been able to find at home in Pittsburgh.
The only negatives are that we didn't realize an extra plate of rice would be $8.99! (We figured it would be $3-4.) ALSO, they were out of change in their cash drawer, which meant we had to pay with our card rather than cash.

Food is very delicious here. It is like home made Indian food. It’s just very small and less place to dine.
Checked out this Indian place with my family and wow the food was amazing. Everything was fresh and we loved it. The staff were kind as well. Would totally recommend.

Excellent restaurant. It is a small, simple, place & people might make the mistake to overlook it, but once you taste the food you know it's something special. Everything was perfect & the spices were exactly as requested. There is no problem ordering vegetarian or vegan food here. The owner who served was quite accommodating. The rice was cooked to perfection. The vegetables were fresh. The sauces were absolutely authentic & not covered in oil. This is a Must Go To place. I was very impressed.
This was the only restaurant open to bring out an Uber order 11:45 at night. Despite all the bad reviews that I read after ordering on Uber, the food was excellent homestyle food. Very little spices, non greasy and good in taste.
