Fuddruckers

Great Hamburger and French Fries on Colonial Drive. Fuddruckers as a chain has gone through a lot of changes over the year. Starting in 1979 it evolved to its current form of 156 restaurants in the world, about 7 in Florida and 3 in Orlando. This particular restaurant is one of those three Orlando sites. It is located in a strip center mall on the north side of the street. Parking is in front of the store. The entire front of the store is glass and is very open and clean with booths along the left side and back and tables in the center section. You enter and place your order at the counter. The staff was very friendly and efficient. There used to be a full condiment bar with pickles, onions, salad. The new store does not have that but does have 3 sauces (ketchup, mayo, and barbecue sauce) so if you want these items tell them when you place your order. A medium hamburger meal costs about $10 and includes a burger, fries, and a drink. Drinks are tea or the magic coke machine. Food takes a little time because they truly prepare your order as you place it. The fries are seasoned and excellent. The buns and hamburgers were just the same, delicious. I had the tea and it was not very good. I could not find a trash can but I did see them bus tables quickly after people left. Overall, it was an excellent meal, in a nice restaurant, with pleasant staff at a good price for a lot of food. I would recommend this to my fellow travelers.

The food is good but some of the employees and machines weren’t great. I asked the cashier who rang us up to get some of the flavors on the machine and he didn’t do anything. We had to ask the manager and eventually they changed some flavors out. Also the screen wasn’t very clean it was very sticky. The food was great and i really enjoyed my fries.

This is such an example of Americana, old dinning style burger joint, it was unpretentious, family friendly, and burgers were very decent for the price you pay. Your burger is cooked perfectly according to your own instructions. A few beer selection is also offered in this restaurant. Staff was friendly, and the dining room was clean 😋 PS: yup that's an egg right there in my burger, so delicious!
