Staff are very nice and the store is always very clean. Food is pretty decent for being a large chain, but I'm somewhat easy to please. I appreciate that the nutrition facts for the food are available on the website.

UPDATE 12-30-2021: Revisited again because it is the only place that I know of so far that offers gluten free bread. This visit was much faster and the manager actually took my order and as soon as I told her that I had an allergy, she did not waste any time and proceeded to remove her old gloves, wash her hands, put new gloves on and make my sandwich with as little to now cross contamination as possible. She is fully aware of the allergy and does her best to make customer feel satisfied.
3 stars due to speed of service. Took longer than expected. However, staff was very understanding and accommodating regarding their knowledge serving gluten-free. They promptly removed their gloves washed their hands, put new gloves on and proceeded to make my sandwich with fresh, never touched ingredients. In others words they grabbed from the fresh batch from the "back" minimizing cross contamination. On it's own parchment paper and in the oven it went and it was a good tasting one. Of course there is an upcharge for the gf bread but only 1 dollar. Give them a try.

This visit to Avalon Subway was great! The store and restrooms were very clean and well stocked! The employees were very professional and helpful! My food was made promptly and beautifully constructed the way I ordered it! It was a delightful experience!

I cannot always count on the Subway app to do what it is supposed to do, but I can always count on the incredible people who work here. They've always been so helpful and easy to work with. They accommodate all of our requests in our large family. I'm so glad they are a part of our community

Typically I get a great finished product. But one employee specifically is always lazy and makes my sub end up being a mustard and mayo pool, regardless what I say.
Imagine mustard gushing out of your sub every bite... no pls
But 90% of the time it comes out great. Very clean and sanitary.
