Luigi's New York Pizzeria

I've had there cheese pies a few times which are the best I have had so far in this area. We have tried the wings before which were sooo delicious. Today we ordered a stromboli and was able to get a custom one with steak. It was huuuuge for a good price. Very good food. Definitely worth eating here. Next I am trying the subs.

This past Saturday, at approximately 6pm, my family of 5 and I began our search for the best pizza in Orlando. This quest began at two places that were formerly our favorites. Unfortunately, time has not been kind to either of these restaurants and we left. Full of disappointment, and while driving back to the Gaylord Palms, I ran a quick google search for the "best pizza near me." Thankfully, Luigi's was the first result. After placing the call to inquire about the wait time, the owner, Chris (a true New Yorker), joyfully invited us over. After arriving 5 minutes later, he had set a table for all of us complete with candles and cartoons for my 3 year old. He explained the menu, made recommendations and made us all feel as if we were at his house in his dining room. We had no less than 4 people waiting on us! Phenomenal. Now the food - If you are looking for true authentic New York pizza with fresh dough, homemade sauce and crispy brick oven edges, then this is your place. This is not one of those hipster faux pizza imitations. This is real NY pizza. Along with this best in Florida (not just Orlando) pizza, we also had his garlic knots, house salad, and straight from NY desserts. The salad dressings (all made in house) were awesome. The garlic knots (the best indicator of pizza dough quality) were some of the best I have ever had. They even came with homemade house sauce that needs to be bottled and sold in every supermarket in Florida. Yes, it is that good. Finally, the desserts were out of this world. This place has only been open 2 months. Get there while you still can. With food and service like this, Luigi's is going to need a bigger location soon. Here is to 20 years. Wow.
