El Rinconcito Restaurant & Bar

Wow, amazing food! We had no idea what we were doing for ordering food, and the young ladies were so helpful to explain things to us. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We also ordered lemonade (I would call it more like limeade), and those were incredible! I'm glad we read the reviews before going, because we probably wouldn't have entered otherwise. The restaurant is in the same building as, but off to the side of, a gas station store. So from the outside it doesn't appear too appealing, but one of the reviews warned to not let that stop you from going in. We're glad we didn't let it stop us!

Don't let the fact that this place is in a gas station deceive you into passing this place up. The food was just flavor dot bomb. I ordered the fried pork plate with yellow rice and beans, the Cuban sandwich, and the passionfruit smoothie. Everything was delicious and I over ordered and proceeded to over eat. Diet, what diet? Do yourself a favor and if you are in the area, def stop in and grab some grub.

On a layover, we ventured out of the hotel and found this restaurant across the parking lot. The food was outstanding. I tried the Cuban sandwich, and the waitress told me that I was from California, I've never had a Cuban before! Boy, was she right! It was incredible. My wife had a fried pork dish with black beans and rice, it was equally amazing! So glad we found this place.

This place really surprised me. I am not from Orlando and I was staying at the Doubletree right next door the bell hop suggested that I go over to this place to grab something quick to eat before I went Inside to retire for the evening. When he told me it was in the gas station. I was very Leary. What kind of restaurant is in the gas station ?? But I decided to check it out when I got over there I was very surprised. It was a nice little quaint very affordable restaurant that had excellent food. Especially for people who are on the go. The portion size is very big and you get a lot for your money. I literally only paid about $8 for this marinated fry pork meal. I took it to go hence the way it's packed.

Stopped by for dinner on a Friday evening and got the great surprise that they had a DJ with Spanish music every Friday! I felt at home back in Puerto Rico 😍. The flavor of the food was amazing! The portions are huge for a great affordable price. Will definitely be spreading the word to my friends and family and will come back soon.

Staying at a hotel near the airport for work for a few weeks and tired of room service, one had to venture out and try some ethnic foods within walking distance. This Cuban spot makes tasty food for its location, there are other choices with a more elegant sit down and further into the city, but for the Orlando airport area this is one of the better options that doesn’t happen to be a chain like everything else is around here. Service is great and very attentive staff at hand, give them a try!
