The food was great and our servers, Vin Diesel and Vin Diesel Jr. Made us laugh!!

I recommend the salmon and veggies from the hibachi without sauce. The seasonings and flavor are amazing!!

We went rather late and were worried they would have a limited menu; they had a full menu straight to last call. The sushi was to be expected, nothing absolutely crazy but it was good. The appetizers were very yummy and their yumyum sauce was delicious!

There was a wait for us when we got there. Understandable. Don’t go if you are starving. We had a pretty cool and funny chef. The food is was okay. Definitely get the steak.

It's dark (but I like it) and quiet, sushi are very tasty. I'm not sure why do they include 18% tip in a check and then suggest to tip even more but it's their business, they can do what they want

I was a bit skeptical of coming to this place due to some bad reviews here on Yelp. I still gave 'em a shot, and I'm glad I did. Does the from of the restaurant need a bit of cleaning and maintenance? Yes, but that can be easily fixed. The interior of the restaurant was clean, organized and the décor was great. They have a Hibachi early dinner special that runs from 3:00-9:00pm. It's only $19.95 and it includes the following:" Chicken, Shrimp, Steak with Soup, Salad, Noodle, Fried Rice, Noodles and Veggies." Yes...that's a heck of a value! For $20 bucks? You can't beat that at any other hibachi restaurant. The Chef did a great job, very entertaining presentation and the food was great. Let me tell you...you get a TON of food, so I had leftovers for the evening. It wasn't packed when I went, since it was early (3:30pm), but I was told that reservations are highly recommended after 5:00pm. I will definitely go back to try some of the sushi offerings, etc. from the menu. I'll update this review right after. Do I recommend this place? Yeah, why not. Give 'em a chance!

We read this was the best Japanese restaurant in Orlando and I think that's correct! My salmon rolls were delicious! Everything in the bento boxes, the rice, steak, and noodles were also very tasty.
The exterior looked iffy but then when we saw the inside we relaxed. It's so cool inside with a big lit Japanese cherry blossom tree sculpture at the front.
The service was great. She brought us more yum yum sauce my fam went through easily!

I frequent this restaurant at least a couple times a year and am never disappointed. Their hibachi is excellent and their chefs are funny and well trained. Make sure to check Groupon before going, they usually have a deal on their worth buying before you go!

Very fair price for the all you can eat menu in todays market. Food taste shows good quality ingredients and care taken to make food. Although there was variety, service was really fast, and food was really tasty, as well as price was fair for what we received, I would of given extra star if there was a couple more items on the hot food section. Maybe some protein mixed with vegetable options. More soup options. Different type of entree style options. Overall though I do recommend this restaurant and will be back!

Definitely worth the $. Got the All-you-can-eat menu and kept ordering until we were full. Lots of great choices for sushi and other items. The banana roll was amazing! Sushi is delicious and well made. Service was a little slow, we waited about 20 mins between different rounds so make sure you order at least 3-4 items on the list at time. Will definitely go back soon!

I purchased their "all you can eat" sushi option. It. Was. Incredible. They'll give you a sheet to select which rolls/appetizers you'd like, and they make everything fresh and bring it to you. Everything I had was DELICIOUS. I had several sushi rolls, some sashimi, a few different appetizers, and some soup. It was all so fresh and tasty. I could not recommend this place more.

Wow! Some of best sashimi dishes ever! Good, prompt and friendly service. Ordered a variety of low-carb sashimi-like appetizers and all of them were delicious.
Kani salad: excellent.
Tuna Kobachi: Substituted Salmon and it was amazing.
Yellow tail Serrano chiles: Delicious, not too spicy
Miso salmon: To die for, delicious.
Spicy scallop sashimi: OMG, this was killer!

The food was ok but our chef was boring an didn't do anything exciting like we have seen at other Hibachi restaurants. Our waitress was very rude. She Seemed annoyed while taking our order when we asked questions. Another waitress was very nice and asked if I needed a refill on my drink not once but twice. She was not even our waitress. Ours never came back to ask us once. The Wait staff definitely need classes in customer service. It wouldnt hurt if they smiled a little too. And our chef could take some pointers from the chef that was at the next grill. His table looked like they were having fun. The place, Average, at best.

Only one waiter on the floor area. We waited 25 minutes to finally place our order and 2 of us chose the buffet. It's not your typical buffet, they will charge you for what you don't eat. It took 15-20 minutes to get the second round of food. I ordered off of the menu and the portions were good and the food was good. Sushi for the buffet was good. Service was just very slow. Will not be back for it. The coffee cake and cheesecake were not good at all. They staff should ask their customers if it's their first time or not to explain the process of sharing one sheet to order the buffet.

Groupon buyers beware! I bought a Groupon for my boys and I to eat dinner at A-Aki on Sandlake last night.
The food was sub-par and than when I got my bill they automatically added an 18% gratuity, only because I used a Groupon. The other couple at the table did not have a Groupon and gratuity was not added. Mind you we were a party of 3. Not a party of 8 in which you would expect added gratuity. I asked my server and she said yes we automatically do that for our customers that use a Groupon. So my $17 bill became a $32 bill.
The table next to us were upset as well, come to find out they were upset about the same exact thing. The manager came and spoke with them and was beyond rude and acted entitled.
Whether you have a Groupon or not the food was not worth it. I have been in the restaurant industry for most of my adult life and this is not how you treat customers you are trying to gain and retain. I thought I would try this restaurant because I love hibachi. I recommend anyone looking for a great hibachi restaurant to try Mizu Japanese Steak House and Sushi by the loop.

The sushi is high quality and well put together. John, our server, was possibly the best server I've ever had in Florida! This all made for an excellent experience. I can't wait to come back for more!

I have gone here a few times with my family and service was good. But as for the last time i went there i for a fact will never be returning. Our server was missing most of the time (we were in regular dining and the place was pretty empty), i had to flag down another server in order to get something else we needed because i couldnt find the server we had, and his tone wasnt that great when taking our orders either.when we went to check out myself or the other people we had with us (2 separate bills) thought his service was very good so we didn't leave a big tip. He then confronted us about why stating he has to tip the sushi people and that we need to give him more tip. I explained that will not be happening and the reasons why. He then proceeded to argue with my friend who paid the other check right in front of the manager.i checked my bank account today and they took out more than i authorized them to! AND charged my friend an extra 10 bucks! I will never be eating here again or recommending them to anyone else!

Great time. We walked in and they placed us right away. The chef was great. They were very concern about the fish allergy and served their meat first. Daughter is pickiest person for trying new places but she loved this place. We will be back.

The sushi was great, the hibachi steak needed more flavor. The server was friendly but every slow. After dinner I cut my birthday cake and we waited for out forks no one came with them. We had to grab them from the other table. Then I had leftover cake and they had threw the box away so the had to give me trays to take it home. I'll go back for sushi!

*Groupon* watch out they automatically add 18% gratuity to your bill as previously mentioned. When addressed they weren’t happy and acted as it was my fault that I mentioned it. It states 18% gratuity is appreciated not mandatory. Hostess was extremely rude and waiter. Chef was excellent.

One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. We called at 6 p.m. while on our way to the restaurant to make a reservation for 7 p.m. They were willing to make a reservation for 7 for my party of four until I told them that we have a Groupon. We were told that they were totally booked solid until 8 p.m., but we decided to go in there and see if anything freed up. When we got there the place was empty. We told them that we would like to have dinner for a party of four. They seemed fine with that until we mentioned that we have a Groupon. As soon as we mentioned that they said we would have to wait an additional 20 minutes. My wife went to use the restroom while we waited and came back disgusted (urine and fecal matter all over, toilet paper strewn about). She informed the management there that the bathroom was dirty and they seemed irritated that she told them. Throughout dinner the people on the other side of the table who did not have a Groupon were treated very well, given multiple refills, etc. We had to flag down a server while they were at the table to get a refill of a drink, they were rude to us, and at the end of the meal alloted themselves in 18% gratuity for our party of 4. After the meal I went to use the restroom and found that there was a poop in the urinal. The floor was so greasy in the bathroom I had to hold the wall to stand up. I will not be back there, they not only overcharged us, but they were rude about it. Hopefully others have a better experience, but I doubt it.
Additionally, if you do not want customers coming in and using their Groupon, don't sell your product on Groupon. If you do want people coming in using their Groupon, don't treat them poorly for using a Groupon.

Great experience. We learn about the businesses through groupon and we could not be happier with the experience my whole family enjoyed the meal preparation and the result was superb. Delicious meal😍😍 will definitely be back on our next vacation to Orlando!

This was the worst Japanese Food in my life! We were a party of 6, 3 of us spent the whole night vomiting from the chicken they ate. As soon as we left the restaurant the stomach ache began. The sushi we order was a mess, the waiter didn’t explained at all anything correctly. The All You Can Eat special it’s a joke, they take forever in bringing you food. We all woke up with headaches and heartburn. Don’t go here unless you want to get sick!

The food was delicious and a great price for as many rolls as you want. The sushi is made fresh, not buffet style. Service needs a little help but it wasn't bad enough where I wouldn't gladly go back.
