Giovanni's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

Giovanni's Italian Restaurant provided top notch service when we needed them the most. We wanted to provide lunch for our teachers and staff to end a busy week. One of our leadership members suggested "trying out" Giovanni's. AND we could not be happier with the experience. Carley, the catering manager, was responsive and communicated with us every step of the way through the planning. (She responded to emails beyond her service time.) Outside of their impeccable service...the food was delicious. We will most certainly be using their catering service again!

We have been coming here for 4 years and i believe recently they have had new ownership. Prior to the new management the place was awesome. Pizza is excellent (i am from chicago originally and consider myself a pizza aficionado of pizza) as well as all the other pasta dishes. The prices are great to and portions are healthy. The new ownership has improved on what was already great. But the The best part of this establishment is the staff. Honestly the food could be average bar food level and we would still come because of the staff making that level of difference. We sit at the bar area and most importantly Angela makes us feel like family and is incredibly attentive and customer focused. She manages that bar like an all pro NFL quarterback and it is so fun and refreshing to be served by someone so in tune with excellent customer service. I travel a lot for my business and dine in all sorts of very expensive and well known restaurant's and i always look forward to coming here more than going back to those. Yes, this place is good….just saying.

Giovanni's is great. Its a quite little place with an authentic at-home-in-an-italian-family feel. Dim lights, proper decor, well dressed staff. The staff was great they were polite and didn't seem to mind us coming in an hour before closing on a Sunday. I took our servers recommendation for the pasta verde and it was great! She even recommended the ziti as tha pasta to carry the sauce. Great recommendation! My wife had the stuffed shells and they were just as good. Plenty of sauce and cheese....and I mean let's face it...NO ONE GOES TO AN ITALIAN PLACE NOT SEEKING CHEESE AND ITALIAN SAUCE!! LOL! Great experience and kind staff! We will be back to try the pizza and we will probably try to utilize the cute outside seating area next time.

I expressed to my server Tyler thy I had 45 minutes to order, eat and pay my tab before I had to be down the street at a doctors appointment, he responded with a charismatic smile and said, not a problem, let’s get started, do you already know what you want? I chose the Alfredo pasta with chicken and a Pepsi. Tyler was quick to bring my drink along with extra napkins, and cutlery wrapped in sterile packaging. (nice touch) I love that I didn’t have to ask for a refills during my meal. The dish was cooked to perfection and served hot! The restaurant is super clean land offers a nice comfy outside dinning area. The restroom was clean and was is equipped with a baby station. Great location, lots of parking and prompt service.
