Gator's Dockside

The service was pretty good for a waitress who only started 2 days prior to our visit. She did try. But the food wasn't as good as could be. I had the ribs which was dry but my wife had gator and she did like it. So maybe just stay away from the ribs. The sides were just ok but certainly not the best i have. It was my first dockside restaurant i have been to be fair. Maybe I just went on a off day.

I love this place! I’ve been to a few Gators locations throughout Orlando and this one is probably my favorite thus far. The staff is always so kind and accommodating (despite our crazy request lol) and the food is outstanding. Ok, let’s talk about the wings for a second. AMAZING! Some of the best wings in town. I will say I wish their sauces were a tad hotter, but I’m a glutton for punishment. Only real negative critique is please, for the love of God, FIX THE OUTDOOR PATIO FANS!!! Otherwise, 5 stars!!! Great place for a bite and a brew!

We searched all over Orlando for ‘the best wings’ and after much debate we decided to try gators. While the parking is horrible(and by horrible I mean there is none unless you wait on someone to leave for 10-15 minutes driving around), the food is outstanding. The wings truly are some of the best we’ve ever had. The service was a lot of young kids, standing around while we had to wait forever to even get asked what we wanted to drink. If the service could be better, I could easily see this becoming a much larger chain of restaurants because the food really is that good.

I used to love this place. Unfortunately service is not that good anymore, kitchen manager seems to not have good communication with employees because food usually takes forever. However I went last week to give it one more chance, and I was so glad I did it. Richard S, was my server and he did an amazing work taking care of me and my friends. He was very patience and poly, even thou the food took a little longer, time flies when you have such of good customer service. He made sure to keep communication with us while we were waiting and to make us feel so comfortable. He made a normal sport bar look like a million dollar restaurant. I wish they can have more servers like him. Way to go Richard! Im looking forward to come back and make sure I get a table with him! Great Customer Service.

This Gators has been good to us for many, many years. We happened to come tonight on all you can eat boneless wing night (and trivia). We were seated right away and our server was at our table within a minute asking for our drink order. We had a glass of Pinot noir and white Zinfandel to start with an order of spinach dip. All were very good. For our main courses we had the children’s cheeseburger sliders with fries, an order of chipotle honey bbq wings and an order of lemon pepper wings. The food was great. My only complaint was the temperature. I wish it would have been a little warmer. Trivia was a lot of fun as well! Didn’t know you had to pay to play (that was new to me) but I hear it’s because you win prizes. Overall, great dinner!
