Kreyol Kafe & Bakery

There's some good food here. If you are familiar with Haitian food or West African food, I think you will like the flavor of the cooking here. The establishment is clean and they have a handful of tables inside. Ordering can be a bit awkward and slow. Not recommended while in a rush. People are polite, but I wouldn't say the customer service great. Overall, a good option for real Creole food.

I didn’t walk, I RAN to write a review for Kreyol Kafe! My only experience with Haitian food has been either homemade, made with lots of love or at chef creole in Miami. So I had high expectations. The griot plate I ordered was not only filled to the rim but was PERFECTLY cooked and fresh. The owner greeted me with the biggest warm smile when I walked in and was so sweet and attentive. If you keep looking for a good Haitian spot, look no further. This is it. 💙

I usually do not leave Google reviews,but Ima just say amazing! I moved here on alafaya a few weeks ago and was looking for any Haitian spot. Funny thing is I use to see the sign every time I drove by but never check it out. Come to find out it was a Haitian spot smh 😑 I mean it does say kreyole kafe ,however that's on me not taking the time out. The inside is clean, the food gets done within 10-15 mins and it's fresh & taste great!👌🏾I'm not sure how it is on a busy day though. I love my people food and I'm not just saying it because I'm Haitian where I have tasted bad Haitian food before lol.

Haven't had veggie legime aka (veggie stew) in a long time, so decided to try and was not disappointed soo good and Jayden made ordering my food a pleasure. Will definitely come here again when I'm on this side of town and want some good Haitian food. Of course cant have Haitian food with out the pickles!!!😊

I’ve been going to Kreyol Kafe for years. From when it first opened to now. It seems as if the quality of service being provided there has digressed; from the taste of the food and so son. I went in for a lunch special of Turkey with Rice&Beans and was given a side container to eat the food in. Upon asking for a bigger container due to the food being so compact together. I was told that this is the ”lunch” size food container and the server went on suggesting to use the other side (lid) of the container to spread out my food. I just thought that was very unprofessional and cheap. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here for Haitian meals anymore.
