Really tasty grilled cheese sandwich. I had the barbacoa and Mac n cheese for my side (pictured), and my husband had the brisket and fries. The sandwiches were great, as were the crispy fries. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the Mac n cheese was not really flavorful. It was a good texture and consistency, but I couldn't taste the cheddar. Service was pleasant, and food was out quickly. We would definitely come back.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Toasted in Orlando, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience. As a passionate vegan, finding restaurants that cater to my dietary preferences while still delivering exceptional taste can be a challenge. However, Toasted exceeded all my expectations.
Their Impossible burgers with vegan cheese are an absolute game-changer! The flavors were incredibly rich and satisfying, making it hard to believe they were plant-based. The attention to detail in crafting these burgers is evident in every bite. The texture was spot-on, and the vegan cheese melted perfectly, adding an extra layer of decadence.
The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and cozy, and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The creativity and thoughtfulness that went into designing their vegan options truly set Toasted apart. I appreciate a restaurant that not only offers vegan choices but takes pride in making them exceptional.
If you're in Orlando and looking for a place that serves mouthwatering Impossible burgers with vegan cheese, look no further than Toasted. It's a haven for vegans and anyone looking to explore delicious plant-based options. I'll definitely be returning to savor more of their delectable offerings!
First time visiting this restaurant. I tried one of their specialty grilled cheese sandwiches, and it was delicious.
Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Really like the interior design.
Food was great and service was quick. Mac and cheese grilled cheese is super cheesy and delicious. Truffle fries are great as well!
Wonderful food. Such a unique restaurant. The menu is amazing and the food is even better. Fresh and hot food, who would if thought the endless variety of grilled cheese sandwiches. If you don't want grilled cheese, the burgers are terrific. The prices are fair for the amount of food you get. If you go away hungry it's your own fault. Stop in and try something out of the ordinary.
A lot of people seem to rag on this place, but truthfully, I LOVE Toasted. Served up specialties of various grilled cheeses in a delicious helping. My favorite item is the Mac n Cheese Grilled Cheese, this place is a cheese lover’s dream.
The only real negative I could say about this place is that the wait time for your sandwich is notably slow. You would expect it to be a bit quicker, in most cases. But in my mind, that is a small price to pay for grilled cheese heaven.
First time there wasn't busy at all we were only ones in there at lunch time which was odd,but they did have variety of sandwiches grill cheese flavors .few burgers which is what I got they have turkey amd beef options but the beef taste very weird firm, almost like a fake patty but was expecting way better quality meat for the price.there was flys flying around while we were eating so could not finish food in restaurant which was a In- convenience.probably would not eat there again unless they mistake gave me turkey or something for burger it was very dry.
Clean establishment, helpful and friendly staff, great food. I've been going here for about 5 years and they have never disappointed. Love the buffalo chicken grilled cheese.
At first I heard this was just a “place for grilled cheese,” but considering what all ELSE you can put on there, it’s a lot more than that. :) Fun place with a friendly vibe, lots of variations on grilled cheese and burgers to mix things up. Table, counter, and outdoor seating options. The tomato basil soup is really good, and thick enough for dipping a sandwich. Prices are fair; I wish there were some more side options, but what they have is pretty good!
Prices are fair. It's a great niche restaurant in the heart of college restaurant row. Parking can be difficult depending on time of day. Takes about 10-15 mins for meal. I had "As Gouda It Gets" the mac (no frills) and my better half got the "Buffalo Chicken." Simple. Yummy. Affordable. Fun. The mac was amaze balls by the way. Enjoy.
