I expected this to be somewhere between 3 and 4 stars but was pleased to find out that it exceeded my expectations. The burger was good. Greasy, but good. I ordered a milkshake, and that was delicious! We were served quickly, and I didn't catch his name, but there was thus man who, every time he came by, he asked if we were okay. (I went with my family) He gave us some fry seasoning for us to try and it was good. I think I prefer just pepper, though. He even got me some m and ms for my milkshake after he heard in passing that there wasn't enough chocolate flavour in my milkshake! He was amazing and so nice. I wish him well.

Best burger I have had in a while. Service was great and fast! Only thing they need to improve is the French fries. Price can't be beat though. Pay half as much as five guys and get a burger that is twice as good.

Good food. Ordering is through a kiosk now. I included a tip but then found out there is no longer any waitstaff. You pick up your own food when your name is called and clear your own table. No tip is warranted.

My nephew likes going to steak 'n Shake, and I don't mind taking him there. The food is great for fast food, you do have to order on the kiosk which is fine. I really like the shake.

I had the classic burger, it's was pretty good. The fries are skinny, the stake and shake seasoning had lots of flavor, just don't add a lot of it will overpower everything. The shake was tasty and many flavors to choose from. The only thing I didn't like was that the burger is a little small for having double patties,

They remodeled this place and it looks beautiful inside. I unfortunately don't remember the name of the lady taking care of us but I loved her energy and kindness with everybody there.

I just wanted to write a review and shout out the people working tonight at 11pm (5/31/23) the young man was empathetic and quick to solve any issues and the young woman was carrying manager energy and apologized for our food taking long but as someone familiar with food industry did not think for how busy their screen was that the food took longer than it should have and so for her to be so apologetic and empathetic was humbling to me. That is someone who cares about the job she does. And to the young man on the grill who has a screen more full than I’ve ever seen in my 10 years in the industry, you did fantastic sir and I’m sure you felt defeated but you did great! We are too quick to attack what we do not understand to those few I could recognize specifically and to those putting in the work that I couldn’t see, you guys did great and we appreciate your hard work! A great team on tonight!!

After Covid everything changed with a lot of restaurants. We used to love to go to state shake, and we felt kind of in the old time restaurant. Now since they changed it to a kiosk for ordering. It has lost all of that audience. The food is so great the atmosphere has really lost it, the service is totally less personal. So the service I would have to say has really fallen.

I just went through the drive thru for breakfast. This place used to be my go to for drive thru breakfast. No more. My simple homestyle breakfast was terrible. When i call and asked for the manager found out he was the one that served thru to me. I cant even eat it. The eggs were cold and burnt and broken yolks. The bacon was greasy and cold and so was the toast. The hashbrowns were not even in the bag and the coffee was sent out to me with my cream and sugar handed to me loose in my hand. I had to ask for a stir stick and was handed an ice cream spoon. When i called back about it totally unapologetic. Sebastion if you are truly the manager shame on you. These are not SnS standards. No wonder you didnt give me my receipt. This way i wouldnt have the number for corp.

I really liked it. Place was clean, staff were cheery and helpful. The burger was great and the meat was juicy. My fries were cold but after telling the waitress, she brought freshly cooked fries out in a few minutes. I couldn't try their milkshakes, lactose intolerant), but I hear they are pretty good. A table seated of firemen were eating chili bowls, so that must have been great tasting as well. Prices were decent. I'll be back!

I was impressed with this location. The lady manager that was on duty was an amazing worker. She was Pleasant, hard working, helpful, carrying and so eficient. The entire staff was really nice!!! 👍

Service was only okay. Hubby's shake was screwed up but they corrected it immediately. SnS does have the best shakes ever, but i am so over burgers, and their other options are limited.

Tried to get dinner tonight at Steak 'n Shake on E. Colonial. Waited half an hour for someone to take our order. Meanwhile watched everyone seated before us and two after us get served. Watched another gentleman waiting to be seated with empty tables available finally leave. We got up and left since we still hadn't placed our order.
Like the food, but won't be visiting that location again.

if i could give this place a 0 i would. i dont understand how hard it is to get an order right and to top it off i get home and my burger is in 3 peices like really? and the fries are cold. ur busy i understand but how the hell do i have cold fries? i will never go back to this location again. jus terrible

I didn't hate it but the service was so slow!! Waited too long to be seated. Got our food without much wait. Had to wait toooo long to pay our bill. Manager was making hamburgers and his tie was continually touching the grill! Gross. We haven't eaten at a Steak 'n Shake in several years and thought we would give it a try. Might be several years again. Food did hit the spot and milk shake was good. Price was good too

The service is horrible. It took 15 minutes to get a glass of water after being seated. In total it took 50 minutes to get our food. This is not the first time either. This has been happening for our last 4 visits. I love SnS but I am losing faith.

I’ve waited 30 mins in this drive thru. It could of been longer. I mean they spent 5 mins roughly on each car in front of me which was like 5 cars in front of me. On top of that I specifically asked THE MANAGER “the food hasn’t been sitting there hasn’t it?” She goes to me and says “I don’t even have it yet!” Not even a min later she hands me the bag I mean I ordered two Chili Macs hardly any sauce.The food is cold the serving size could feed my little nephew which he is 9 years old and I mean this is ridiculous. I’ve been to several steak n shakes in my life but never have they served me a kid size portion and or handed me cold feet. I’m afraid to have my fiancé eat this during his over night shift. I’m so glad I ordered two because he wouldn’t even been satisfied with just one I mean let alone TWO meals !!!

Today I went with my family and I spent more than an hour and a half waiting for the order and we saw that other people of American nationality arrived and their food came out quickly when they were disinherited to leave us for the bad treatment and service nor the manager of the place asked us excuse was only to charge us the refreshment we are very mokesto by how we were treated to just being hispanic
