On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

Saturday night we stop at On The Border and had a great experience. We walking in and was told it was going to be 25 to 30 minutes, so we decided to sit at the bar. We where greeted by Michael, who took our drinks order. Few moments later we had our drinks and then Deidre brought us some chips and salsa. I ask Michael what his name was he told us and ask for names which is how he address us the rest of the night. Mike took our appetizers order, and brought us fresh drinks. Shawn brought our appetizers The Border Sampler which look and tasted awesome. Deidre took our dinner order which was the Create your own and we choose the pick 4, we chose 2 soft taco and 2 beef empanadas. The food arrived just as we finished our appetizers, and was delivered by Shawn who asked if we needed anything else. The food was great, right temperature, and portion size was just right. The entire evening was awesome and next time we go to orlando we will stop in and see Michael, Deidre and Shawn. You made our night.

Had an amazing first experience! Free chips & salsa! They have an early evening happy hour that ends at 7pm, & another happy hour from 9pm to close during the weekdays. I got the mango margarita nonslushied bcz the waitress said it has more alcohol that way, it was SUPER tasty. Ordered the flautas app bcz I've heard great things about them, & they definitely lived up to it! Everything including my entree came out quick & hot. My server was amazing & super nice. I've been dying to go back!!

The server Elena was an incredible server! She was very attentive, friendly, helpful with the menu and a hard worker. My taco salad was good although I expected my meal to be an taco shell rather than pita chips. I still enjoyed eating it though. My friends and I had visited during a non busy time so we had fun being there.

good dinner- very reasonably priced. our favorite mexican place in our Orlando area. sit down- table service- not too crowded, wait staff very attentive. chips and salsa abound!! chicken enchiladas- hubby favorite, i have tried fajitas - fish tacos- taco salad. all good. we tried the sopaillo- fried dough with cinnamon sugar- light desert!
